SHUL ANNOUNCEMENTS
MAZEL TOV to Aharon Chaim Luchins on his Bar Mitzvah! The Luchins family invites everyone to join them for the Bar Mitzvah this Shabbos at RPRY. Shacharis is at 9:00AM (Nusach Ari) followed by a Siyyum and Kiddush (approximately 12:00PM). Mazel Tov to his parents, Meir & Chana, grandparents, and siblings!
DAF YOMI SHIUR: The topic this Shabbos will be Kesubos Daf 47 – The Obligation to feed one's wife. The shiur will take place at 5:55PM Shabbos afternoon in the shul and will be followed by Mincha. After Pesach the Perek on the Lawn series will begin, and we will resume the Daf Yomi on Shabbos afternoons after Shavuos.
AY WOMEN’S LEARNING INITIATIVE will take place this Shabbos, Parshas Vayikra, March 21st, at 4:45PM. It will be held at the Stricker residence, 106 Washington Avenue, Highland Park, and the will be given by Rachel Glaser on the topic of “Erev Shabbos.” All women are invited to attend.
AY ANNUAL CLOTHING GIVEAWAY is this Sunday, March 22nd, from 10:30AM – 2:30PM! Come and get "new-to-you" men’s, women’s, and children’s clothing and shoes. Even men's suits and shoes will be available for the taking! We encourage anyone to come and take what you need. Donations accepted but not required. Clothing donations can be dropped off at the Jaffe or Scheiner residences. Please make arrangements with either of them before dropping off.
SHABBOS HAGADOL MEALS @ AY: Have to clean for Pesach? Yes! Have to cook for Shabbos HaGadol? No! We invite everyone to join us for good meals and good company in shul next week, Shabbos HaGadol. Make it a stress free, relaxing Shabbos right before Pesach and let AY do the work! Signup is available on the website or by speaking to R’ Dani Davis. Sponsorship opportunities are available and appreciated. The registration deadline is Tuesday, March 31st. Pricing is as follows:
$180 sponsorship - both meals for entire immediate family
$100 sponsorship - up to three (3) adults for each meal or six (6) adults for one meal
$50 sponsorship – two (2) adults for one meal
$23/adult (12 and up) and $17/child for both meals
$12/adult (12 and up) and $9/child for one meal
PERSONALITIES OF THE TALMUD shiur will not be taking place this week due to the AY Clothing Giveaway. We will reconvene next week, Sunday March 29th @ 9:15AM, to discuss the topic of Raban Yochanan ben Zakkai.
DIRSHU DAF YOMI B’HALACHA: Next week the Dirshu Daf Yomi B'Halacha begins the cycle again with the beginning of Shulchan Aruch. Thank you to the Kassai family for donating 4 additional volumes of Dirshu Chelek Aleph in loving memory of Meir ben Alter Chaim Dov. The Dirshu shiur at AY takes place at 6:00AM daily, followed by Shacharis at 6:10/6:15AAM. Please join us for a daily dose of Torah followed by davening.
PESACH 5775:
Visit the shul website for the Mechiras Chametz form. Rabbi Jaffe will be available for Mechiras Chametz in shul beginning on Sunday, March 22nd. Additionally, he will be available every night in the shul after the zman Mincha/Maariv. If one needs to make an appointment outside of these times, please feel free to contact Rabbi Jaffe directly to arrange a mutually convenient time.
Please consider donating to Ma’os Chittim through Rabbi Jaffe to help relieve stress for families that are under overwhelming financial pressure. The earlier you can send in a check, the better. Please make checks payable to the Rabbi’s Discretionary Fund with Ma’os Chittim in the memo section and either drop off at the shul or give to Rabbi Jaffe.
The 2015 OU Passover Guide is available to all members and can be found in a box in the shul lobby (under the bulletin board). We ask all members to take only one (1) copy per family so we can ensure all members can receive a copy.

OE YOUTH TRIP Please join the OE Youth Department on a trip to the Crayola Experience (formerly known as the Crayola Factory) on Sunday, March 29th (the Sunday before Pesach).
