Conflicts: State’s approach in relation to gender

The state approach in relation to gender is conflicted by the following points: 1. The effort to bring of women in the stream of development driven by economic and

various national and international compulsion2. Maintain and retain the structural and strategic gender based dominations under

influence of conventional and patriarchal outlook3. Pressure of growing conservative reactionary process4. Maintain patriarchal attitude and mentality of the society5. Some strategic facilities have positioned men upgrade6. Limited impact of domestic violence 7. Access to internal and external social and economic resources are not equal8. Non-domestic violence positioned women in bellow/ lower9. Women’s position in respect of domestic and non-domestic violence is remarkable10. Practice and violence accepting the growing repression of women 11. Despite of favorable general laws and policies women cannot goes the beyond of

limited attitudes of patriarchal society or customary provisions.

Limitations/constraints

Unequal application of Law depicts the social, political, economical and cultural disparity which shows the exact scenario of on going discrimination and torture on women. Discriminatory domestic laws provide survival inequality all over the country. Further the traditional approach towards gender issues, strong anti female demand and unequal facilities are the common trends of discrimination impacted on entire family of the survive woman. Further low level of literacy among men, women and religious fundamentalists concern the different types of humiliation and threatening. For this reason the project is to run activity grass root to top level increasing awareness on gender issues to be aware and increase the demand of amending discriminatory laws and policy.
