COLOGICAL BALANCE
The government could be an effective facilitator and assistance provider to Small Scale Miners;
Transparent and participatory decision-making builds better relationship between and among LGUs, IPs’, SSM, NGAs and other stakeholders;
Constant dialogue and partnership is key in sustaining interest of SSM and various stakeholders to participate in the program;
Facilitating stakeholders in recognizing the need for economic, socio-cultural and ecological balance helps promote transparency, accountability and responsiveness.
These could only happen with shared responsibility, responsive policies, and clear system backboned with strong political leadership and support
