Introduction
Founded in 1952, Compassion International is a Christian organization that has helped 1.2 million children in 26 countries. The group’s focus addresses children’s lives from before-birth care to university-level education, serving spiritual, social, educational, and physical needs of each child it assists. The organization works through its volunteer Advocates, hosting numerous events and gatherings throughout the year.
About Compassion International
To become Compassion advocates, volunteers donate their time, money, influence, and talents for the benefit of children and to raise awareness of the group’s mission. In addition, volunteers organize fundraising and sponsorship activities and may also participate in training opportunities and events.
