COMMUNITY BIBLE STUDY OF SUN CITY invites

They meet at 9:30 AM weekly here at GBC and will

study the books of Job, James, 1 & 2 Thessalonians,

Philippians, and 1 John. Registration cards and

instructions are available from the literature racks in

SCHOOL SUPPLIES DRIVE—Our GBC Women's

Missionary Fellowship is collecting school supplies

until August 26. Your donations may be placed in

one of the wire baskets in the lobby. Supplies benefit

the Native American ministries that Grace supports.

MEN'S BIBLE STUDY meets every Saturday

morning at 7:30 AM in the Missions Room for a great

time of Bible study, prayer, and fellowship. All men

are welcome to attend.

GRIEF SHARE BEGINS SEPT. 10—If you have

suffered the loss of a loved one, you may benefit by

the weekly sessions that include excellent videos and

supportive interaction with one another. The group

meets on Mondays from 9:30 to 11:30 AM. If you have

LINDA SHARP World Venture

Cote d’Ivoire, West Africa

Almost from its start, Grace Bible Church has been

supporting Linda Sharp, RN. She recently wrote, “I

received the new Missionary Prayer Guide. I thank you

that my name is still in your book and that so many of

your folks are still praying for me after all these years.”

Linda arrived in Cote d’Ivoire in 1968 and, except for

a 2 year absence to take care of her ailing father, has

served in the hospital at Ferkessedougou. She is in

charge of the women’s clinic. She is also involved

with the nursing students who are being trained

at the hospital. Linda testifies about God’s wonderful

provision for a new generator and funds for hospital

equipment that was desperately needed. She is on

home furlough now, but will return to Cote d’ Ivoire

on September 26.

Please hold Linda up in prayer as she continues to

serve others. Pray that God would give her health

and strength and that God would use her witness to

bring Him glory, and others to the Savior.
