• Use the Hearing Goals sheet to help you determine your own personal
needs.
– Make short term goals: e.g. “I want to understand sentences in
quiet.”
– Make long term goals: e.g. “I want to talk with my grandchildren on
the phone.”
• Establish time each day to work in Sound Success.
• Enlist an accountability partner (if that helps you) to make sure you are
continuing to practice.
• Try not to become frustrated as tasks become more difficult.
• Work on the tasks in quiet and then add a little noise to make it more
challenging.
