One thing: You are amazing! Yet again, yes-terday’s party exceeded the expectations of even the most veteran party animal. Looking through Commerciel Magazine’s thousands of pictures from the Botanical Garden, the story tells itself. The costumes were great, the atmosphere was fanatic, and rusers and in-struktors were on top of the world.

To cut a long story short, today in Commer-ciel Magazine you will find reports from your last day of introduction. You will find out what Commerciel Magazine really is, and of course, you will find loads of pictures from the West-ern Party.

So enjoy the last issue of Rusuge special edi-tion, and see you next week in the real mag-azine.

So Much to SeeDuring the last year of school we have portrayed reality-host Adam Duvå Hall, the king of pil-lows Lars Larsen, the head of B&O Thure Mantoni and a lot of other inspiring people. We have written about recruiting on LinkedIn, how to sleep well, overcrowded aulas at BSS, students who work for free to compliment their resume, events around campus and Aarhus - and so much more.

THE FINAL COUNTDOWNTHE FINAL COUNTDOWN

In MMC’s class a YouTube-link was ask-ing:”How are you doin’?” seconds after the international students answered it by screaming “we’re feeling too crazy.” At last the different cheers and team songs were learned by heart, and all the Rusers used them frequently whenever there was time for a break from the seriousness. But the instructors also had to work hard to get the students in shape once again. This final day, the talk of the town was all about the Western Party. Tactics on how to impress the tough judges were made, and freshmen were transformed into anything

from money bags and prisoners to totem poles and skeletons.Confidence was high among the Tysk/Kom rusers during costume changing. While Kim Larsen roared from the speakers, tulle and velour were wrapped around bodies and the birth of crispy carrots was incontestable. “Carrots are just more colourful,” two con-fident orange vegetables said and hereby proclaimed that it was going to be a fight to the finish. And on that note the team left for the big get together in Botanical Garden.

The Final CountdownAfter days with information and a lot of partying the Rusers were tired, but still going strong. This was clear in the different classes that Commerciel Magazine visited the final day of the Introduction week.

Sardins (Herrings to be more exact) fart under stress. Appar-ently it is the only fish who does so.

The longest recorded hang-over lasted 4 weeks: the man was so dehydrated after drink-ing, that he had a stroke.

Commerciel Magazine was founded in 1959 and has sur-vived hippies, buffaloes and fake curls.

The world in Brief

Hangovers. Bad hangovers! Maybe you will find a little comfort in paracetamol, lots of water, sleep, junkfood, and fresh air. Or you may prefer to cure your hangover the way you got it: in the wild west style. Yep. Americans claim that ‘prairie oysters’ are a brilliant cure for hangovers (a mix of raw egg yolk, Worcester-shire-sauce, vinegar, Tabasco, salt and pepper). If this is a bit too hardcore for you, rumor has it that Billy the Kid tried to cure hangovers by drinking tea made from rabbit droppings.

THE WINNER

At Commerciel Magazine it was a difficult decision to choose who should win tickets for Club Klub October 26. There were many great costumes and extremely happy spirits from everybody, but some-body drew the attention and the winner of this year’s Western Party is…

THE TOTEL POLES from HA 9-10.

Winning because of their amazing atmosphere, their self-cleaning skill, their fantastic homemade costumes, and the original idea no-one has seen before. That’s what we like!

Carrots ran beer race while instruktors yelled: ”Are you ready to be ”watered” with alcohol?” These happenings were just some of the few to mention from the amaz-ing two hours in Botanical Garden. The moves from the rusers were a sight for sore eyes and the skeletons had made their own steps with hip movements that for sure are illegal in at least nine countries. Also prison-ers fascinated with their very authentic en-trance where instruktors as Sheriffs’ yelled “left, right, left”. Everyone contributed to the overwhelming atmosphere, and there were very friendly attitudes towards other classes with dancing with each other and games with beer.

Besides the many shots that got lost in

stomachs, the beer races, and the happy spirit, there were also time to learn a dance from dancing queen Vicky Jo, who for the fourth time in Botanical Garden had to get the party started with a little Line Dance. Vicky Jo said that she was pretty nervous and that she couldn’t lift the atmosphere, because it was already so high, that no-one could ever make it better. But Vicky was wrong; it just got even better, when people were praised for their drinking and dance moves.

After dancing, it was time to go back to the school and keep up the spirit to party one last time in Klubben. And that didn’t sound and look like it was a problem for all the Rusers.

Western Party Gone WildThe Western Party took wildness to a new level with skeletons getting shots lying down in a circle while Bob Sinclair sang ”just do it, do it, do it” in the background.

In the weekend before the introduc-tion week, the instruktors for BScB 1-3 were supposed to make their own Gangnam Style film. Howev-er, due to time pressure and bad weather they decided to skip it. Therefore, Sebastian is nominat-ed as Instruktor of the Day as he, single-handedly, made a Gangnam Style-film. He wanted his Rusers to get the right feeling of Gangnam Style, and the result was a blast of a music video. People at BSS now refer to Sebastian as the “Gangnam Guru”.

Ruser of the Day

Anne Møller JensenHA Almen 9+10

Anne was amazing Tuesday night. After a great night in Klubben she, on her way home, ran into a rather drunk, very cheerful, laughing, and sweet guy from HA Almen 1+2. The Ruser from HA 1+2 had missed the last train to Grenaa and did not know where to go or what to do. Anne was his savior and followed the guy all the way to his brother’s apartment at the other end of town.

Everybody is very pleased with the outcome of the fantastic introduction days. The stu-dents, the instruktors, the volunteers and not to forget the whole organization behind, Studenterlauget. The introduction week co-ordinaters Michael Ravn Pedersen and Tina Halborg Nielsen had the biggest smiles on their faces, as we meet them at the West-ern Party in the Botanical Garden. “Every-

one has done a fantastic job by putting an extraordinary program together. Yesterday’s case was well arranged and more import-ant the students did a fantastic job solving it. Furthermore the new challenge this year by having students both at Nobelparken and at Fuglesangs Allé has proved how flexible the instruktors can be. Huge applause to the instruktors for doing it without complaining,

but with a smile. All around it has been some amazing days, even the rising temperatures in the Aula Tuesday night was forgotten in the heat of battle”, Tina and Michael sum-marizes. First year instruktor Caroline from Ha 13-14 has a sore throat, but can’t stop jumping around because her class is party-ing to the beat of Vicki Jo´s dance moves. She is happy to be a part of the whole setup

and has only praises for the planning. “And my students have been over the top awesome to be around,” she adds. All in all people on and around BSS are at their best this Wednesday evening; hopefully some of the memories are still remembered after this night.
