About Adel Cricket Club

Adel Cricket Club was founded in 1876 and we are very proud of our history. Our picturesque ground is situated next to the Church of St John the Baptist, Adel, described as ‘one of the best and most complete Norman churches in Yorkshire’. Few people know that our unusual looking club logo symbolises the historic Adel Church door knocker!

Adel CC is a very family focused club and we are aiming to expand our links with the local community. Our highly organised junior section, ranging from Under 9’s to Under 17’s, continues to thrive and regularly attracts over 100 junior members to coaching on a Monday night. We pride ourselves on not only teaching cricket skills, but also on encouraging lifelong disciplines, fitness and sportsmanship values.

We field 3 senior teams in the Airedale and Wharfedale Senior Cricket League and 1 senior team in the Dales Council Cricket League and maintain strong links with Leeds Beckett University, Leeds University and Yorkshire County Cricket Club through our coaching programmes.

We also have very strong social media links with a thriving website currently ranked around 120 in the country on pitchero. Our twitter account is updated regularly and currently has over 500 followers.

Sponsorship Packages 2015/2016

We feel we have a really important role to play in the community and the club continually strives to improve the standard of its facilities, the quality of cricket played and the opportunity for young players to develop. We are seeking as much local and regional support as possible to enable us to do this. The high level of activity has its usual costs, as an example, over £800 per year is spent on cricket balls alone!

Senior and Junior cricket provides an excellent opportunity to advertise your company. You will have local, regional and even national exposure.

Your company will have exclusive access to a number of events including the local Beer Festival & Fun Day hosted by the club which attracted over 750 visitors last year, a great way for you to expose your company.

We also have a new sponsorship package this year open to any restaurant, with great potential for profit on your behalf.

Our Sponsorship Packages are as follows:-

1. Main Club Sponsor- 3 year deal (optional)

Main Club Sponsor is the primary sponsor of the club, giving your company a lot of exposure at the club and through our various activities.

How much does it cost?

We have created a number of pricing schemes, all at an affordable rate, with a number of exclusive benefits for your company. We also have exclusively this year a 3 year package, with discounts each year and continued benefits yearly. Prices are as follows:

- Year 1 £2,500 - Year 2 £1,500 - Year 3 £1,000

What are the benefits to you?

- Your logo on all of the senior cricket shirts/training tops

- Club handbook, website, and promotion at club events

2. Exclusive Restaurant/Bar Deal – 3 year deal (optional)

This new exclusive deal, has been designed to benefit the club in a number of ways. We would be looking to arrange club social evenings at your bar/restaurant throughout the year, enhancing the social side of the cricket club and providing you with business in return.

We are also looking to open this deal to all the family members within the club, giving them an exclusive Adel Cricket Club discount/voucher arrangement. We would also be looking at giving out these vouchers on a 6 month period, giving you an increasing number of customers over a longer period of time.

How much does it cost?

- Year 1 £2,000 - Year 2 £1,500 - Year 3 £1,000

What are the benefit to you?

- Regular social events in your restaurant with around 15+ customers

- An agreed number of vouchers, with reduction off the bill at your restaurant, distributed throughout the club, giving you an increase in customers (Discount of bill percentage negotiable)

- Full page advertisement in the club handbook

- Pitch side advertisement hoarding - An exclusive article with Yorkshire

3. Pitchside Advertising Hoarding

We now have lots of available space on the cricket pitch perimeter for you to advertise your Company name and logo. With the cricket ground being used every day during the summer, this provides a great opportunity to make your Company known to the local community.

How much does it cost?

- Year 1 - £200 (£100 for board production, £100 sponsorship) - Year 2 - £100 - Year 3 - £100

4. Beer Festival & Family fun day

The beer festival & Fun day runs over a weekend in the summer (4th, 5th and 6th Sept 2015) and generally generates over 750 visitors. The weekend consists of: c.28 different Ales and Ciders, live bands, food stations and bouncy castles for the Sunday which is predominantly the family fun day.

How much does it cost?

- Main Sponsor - £1,000 - Glass Sponsor - £750 - Sponsor a barrel - £100

What are the benefits to you?

- Headline sponsor on all marketing material - Promotion and links to your business on the website, facebook, twitter,

festival banners, printed festival programs, flyers to be distributed at the event

- 10 free tickets for the beer festival

Glass Sponsor/Barrel Sponsor
