Your Community Needs YOU The Penkside Community Champions are always looking for new members to help with community activities, or you may have a brilliant idea but don’t know where to start. We can help and support you to make it happen. If you can spare the odd hour or two then please get in touch. We are also looking for people in Exeter Street to help deliver the Community Newsletter. We currently have around 12 people who just deliver the Newsletter around the estates which is a fantastic help. Volunteers are also needed to help get the Youth Club back up and running again as well as other activities in the community. St Mary's Church Christmas Tree Festival Wednesday 2nd December 2015 - Sunday 6th December 2015

Following the huge success of last year’s Christmas Tree Festival, this year’s festival will be held over five days again.

Last year was the largest festival yet with 70 decorated trees on display in the church attracting 6500 visitors. The festival will again be run in conjunction with Stafford Borough Council and Stafford Town Centre Partnership as part of the town’s Christmas festivities.

Stafford Farmers Market

Saturday 12th December 2015

Traders begin to set up their stalls from as early as 7.30am with the majority being open for trading from 9am, they close at around 4pm or when they have nothing left to sell (which happens quite often as their produce is very popular).

The Markets are very well attended with around 30 stalls available, the Farmers and Traders stand in all weather, come rain or shine and are very proud of what they have on sale.
