    All feeders off, All hot air gates closed,

    all scanners show no flame. Put LDO System in operation.

    Maintain Furnace / Wind box DP

    Light up Boiler with AB elevation(Rotate firing).

    COLD START UP

    Charging of 6.6 KV Electrical Supply System

    & Charging of 6.6 KV Switch Board..

    Starting of CW & ACW Water Pump.

    Start DMCW system

    Starting of Air Compressor system Charging of DM Make up System, Fill FST &

    Condensate Storage tank.

    Open of Boiler Side Vents & Drains.

    Filling of Boiler Drum through Boiler Fill pump(250 m3).

    Start of Air Pre heater A & B (Ensure APH iscoming on Air Motor).

    Conti Charge PRDS

    Take Turbine on barring gear

    Taking Generator Seal Oil system in Serviceand fill H2 gas.

    Provide Turbine Gland sealing

    Start Vacuum pumps & pull vacuum

    Put HPBP in operation

    Charge HFO heating line

    Start HFO Pump Put De aerator & Hot well Level Control on

    auto.

    Put De aerator to initial heating.

    Conti. Increase firing by taking HFO guns after

    attaining HFO temperature.

    Increase the pressure to 20 ksc and MSTemp 340 350 deg C and RH Temp 350deg C

    Roll Turbine to 690 rpm and soak the turbinefor 35 40 mins

    Maintain MS Pr and Temp

    Roll Turbine to 3000 rpm& soak for 20 mins

    Synchronize the machine

    Close HP & LP BP

    Take pulveriser A in service and rise the

    load to 50 MW.( 28 Kg/cm2, 170 Deg C)

    Charge LP Heaters from steam side. Take Pulveriser B in service and rise

    the load to 75 MW.( 50 kg/cm2, 250

    Deg c) Take 100 % feed water line.

    Take Mill C in service and rise the load to 100MW.( 70 Kg/cm2, 350 Deg C)

    Charge the HP Heaters from water side first

    and then steam side. Take second BFP in service.

    Establish second air & flue gas gas cycle. ( iestarting second ID & FD fan).

    Take Mill D in service and rise the load to 170MW.(110 Kg/cm2, 540 Deg C)

    Take CMC in service.

    Rise the load to 250 MW.
