CHROMEBOOK AND TECHNOLOGY ACCESS INTRODUCTION INFORMATION

Packet Will Contain:

1. Chromebook and Technology Access Introduction Information Sheet2. Chromebook + Charger

**This device is monitored by Aug Prep and should be used for school purposes only.**a. Charge your Chromebook every night. Forming this habit now will make for a smooth transition to in-person learning later

in the year (when your Chromebook will travel back and forth between home and school each day).3. Daily Schedule Chromebook Sticker

a. Put this sticker on your Chromebook and never be late to class! Includes start and end times for each block on each day as well as your contact for tech support.

4. Schoology and Gmail Account Logina. Use the account username and password on this sheet of paper for Schoology and Gmail.

5. School ID Numbera. Every Aug Prep student is issued a unique School ID number. You will need your School ID number throughout the school

year, including when we take your ID photo. Have this number on hand during pick up.

when picking up Chromebooks ⬥ The sheet will contain a link to virtual

orientation videos

⬦ Login to Schoology⬦ Find their courses⬦ Use the Big Blue Button Conferencing Program

(this is where your online classes will take place)⬦ Use the Schoology page for each class⬦ Go into an assignment and quiz⬦ How to submit an assignment and quiz⬦ Check grades⬦ Communicate with their teachers

enter their classes so they can be prepared for:

LIVE Virtual Freshmen Orientation hosted on Schoology on Aug. 24th and 25th from 8am-Noon
