EVENT DETECTION FOR GRITTER ROUTING SOFTWARE Next step is to use weather forecast and Tristar ITS traffic simulation capabilities to predict difficult road conditions for upcoming 12 hours. Predicted events will define routes for gritter-vehicles for improved road safety in urban areas during the winter season.

CUSTOMIZED NOTIFICATIONS FOR CITIZENS The goal is to mature the mobile-client prototype and enable customized notifications on urban events, including traffic jams, weather, concerts, road works, etc. Think of IFTTT that operates on urban systems.

SITUATIONAL AWARENESS FOR URBAN DEPARTMENTS City authorities will get access to GUI to define own events and assign them to appropriate city services. Delivered events will trigger relevant behavior and enable evidence-based decision making in urban departments.
