WebEx Web Conference* Cisco MeetingPlace - Powered by The Meeting Room & Share Feature Meeting Room Permissions The Meeting Room Overview: Think of the WebEx Meeting Room as a virtual conference room where you can see a list of meeting attendees and participate in meeting activities. Participant List Panel: View a list of all participants who are in the meeting and perform basic functions: = See Audio Connections and who’s speaking = Mute Me = Raise Hand o Host - The default value for the Meeting Scheduler. The Host... Starts the meeting, Records the meeting, Can mute/unmute attendees, Changes meeting roles, Ends the meeting. o Presenter - The Presenter is the person with the “WebEx Ball”. The Presenter...Shares content, Passes remote control, Transfers Files, Conducts polls. o Attendee - The Attendee... Joins the meeting, participates with interactive features, can assume any role (assigned by the host). Tip - The Host role can be transferred to another attendee during the meeting. This must be done if the Host needs to leave the meeting. File Transfer: The Host of the meeting can transfer files with meeting attendees so they can download them to their desktops. 1. From the File drop down menu, click on Transfer 2. Click Share File 3. Choose a file from your computer The filename appears in the File Transfer window & is ready for download. Polling: The Host of the meeting can use the Poll panel to attain instant feedback from attendees. See the Polling Quick Reference Card. 1. At the time of your meeting, open the appointment. 2. Click on the Join hyperlink in the meeting notification. - If you are the Host: The Web Conference will automatically launch. - If you are the Guest: Enter your Name, Email Address and Meeting Password then wait for the Web Conference to launch. 3. Follow the prompts in the pop-up to join the Audio Conference - Verify or Enter your Phone Number and click Call Me. - Alternatively, click Audio Conference from the Audio drop down menu or Dial in via one of the numbers listed in the notification. The Meeting Room & Share Feature Meeting Room Permissions

The Meeting Room Overview: Think of the WebEx Meeting Room as a virtual conference room where you can see a list of meeting attendees and participate in meetingactivities.

Participant List Panel: View a list of all participants who are in the meeting and perform basic functions: = See Audio Connections and who’s speaking = Mute Me

o Host - The default value for the Meeting Scheduler. The Host... Starts the meeting, Records the meeting, Can mute/unmute attendees, Changes meeting roles, Ends the meeting.

When you share in full-screen mode, meeting controls are available in a control panel

Note: The image to the left represents the presenter view. Attendees will see a simpli�ed view.

Stop Sharing: Exit full-screen sharing mode and return to the meeting window.

Pause Sharing: Freeze the participants’ view of a shared application, web browser or desktop. Example: You can pause sharing while you look at a con�dential �le. To resume sharing, click pause again.

Sharing Menu: Access the sharing menu to switch modes instantly without returning to the meeting window.

Assign Privileges: Make another attendee the presenter, pass remote control or assign attendee privileges.

Audio Controls: Access the audio controls without returning to the meeting window.

Mute: Mute/un-mute yourself quickly.

Panel Icons: Access meeting panels and view alerts for panel activity. Only the 1st four panels you have open appear minimized in the tray; you can reorder panels by selecting Manage Panels from the Select menu option at the end of the control.

Select Menu: Manage panel layout, access audio options, synchronize the full-screen view for all meeting participants
