How long does it take?

The aim of this qualification is to equip you with fundamental marketing knowledge - whether youre in a job that involves marketing or not. It answers the essential question: What is marketing? It also aims to develop your knowledge and skills if you are working to support others in basic marketing tasks

• People already working in a marketing support role such as marketing assistants, coordinators, advertising assistants etc.• Those hoping to pursue a career in marketing.

• Marketing Principles (Mandatory) – Exam• Customer Communications( Mandatory) – Assignment

Completion of 2 Mandatory modules

35 Guided learning hours and additional 70- 60 hours covering practical & work based learning , assessment preparation time and self-study

Completion of 3 modules ( 2 Mandatory modules & 1 elective module)

60 Guided learning hours and additional 120 - 100 hours covering practical & work based learning , assessment preparation time and self-study

Completion of 3 modules ( 2 Mandatory modules & 1 elective module)

70 Guided learning hours and additional 150 - 130 hours covering practical & work based learning , assessment preparation time and self-study

• Junior marketers • Those whose current job encompasses elements of marketing

The aim of this qualification is to provide you with the knowledge, skills and understanding to be able to succeed at an operational level and to perform an essential and successful professional marketing role within the workplace.

Eligibility Criteria

Total duration 6 months 10 – 9 months 10 – 9 months

This is an open access qualification – no qualifications or marketing experience is required. However, some work experience would be advantageous. You will be required to provide evidence of English proficiency

• CIM level 3 Introductory Certificate in Marketing Qualification OR• Bachelor’s degree in Business Marketing• Professional practice (suggested one-two years in a marketing role or in an entry level marketing position

• CIM Level 4 Qualifications OR• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree from a recognized university• Professional practice (suggested 4-3 years marketing in an operational and/or management role )
