A wag of the tail and a little lick of the faceproved that there’s lots ofgood lovin’ that goes on in the Children’s Cancer

Hospital at M. D. AndersonCancer Center. Not very long

ago two cute puppies – Stumpand J.R. – came to visit the young

patients there. These dogs arechampions and so are these children.

Everyday they strive to win their fight againstleukemia, osteosarcoma, neuroblastoma and

other cancers. Often they have lovablefriends and family members - andsometimes even cute puppies - to help them along the way.

The Children’s Art Project is there tohelp, too. Funds raised from selling cards

and gifts created from the artwork of thechildren return to fund special programs that

make their lives a little easier. Because of the artproject, these young patients can go to school in the

hospital, attend summer camp, learn to ski down snowymountain trails, have the support of Child Life specialists,enjoy special parties and field trips and lots, lots more.

But, it’s more than just puppy love when your bighearts pick from our Valentine collection to

send to all your loved ones. Our youngpatients do love visits from cuddly puppies,but they also love the programs they enjoy thanks to theChildren’s Art Project

and love you, too, foryour support and interest.

They all want you to betheir Valentines again this year.
