Along with her artistic leadership of the Children’s Chorale of Flagstaff, she is also on the music faculty at Northern Arizona University. Ms. Kragness received her Bachelor of Arts degree in vocal music education at Luther College in Decorah, Iowa, where she studied with Dr. Weston Noble, Dr. Timothy Peter, and Dr. Sandra Peter. She received her Master of Music degree in Choral Conducting at Northern Arizona University under the direction of Dr. Edith Copley. During her studies at NAU, Ms. Kragness conducted the Northern Arizona University Singers, was the assistant conductor for the Northern Arizona Women’s Chorale, and taught freshman year eartraining. Prior to relocating in Flagstaff, Ms. Kragness was the Director of Choirs from 1999 - 2002 at Brooklyn Center Junior/Senior High School, and the Associate Director of Choirs from 2002 - 2006 at Coon Rapids High School in Minneapolis.
