Laura Bird Miller's teaching and painting experience spans over a decade.  She has taught explorations art, art history, drawing & painting, and character sketches through nature for K-12 at Circle Christian School for 11 years before coming last year to Coffee and Canvas where she has taught classes for both adults and children.  As a professional artist as well, her murals may be found in businesses and homes across Central FL. Additional Opportunities

Workshops and other fun stuff… The workshops below are offered on a periodic basis and do not fall into the category classes with monthly payments. Each class has a price structure of its own. Register by texting or calling (407)416-2594.

Art is food not only for the soul, but also for the mind and for the body. Could it be that connections made during creativity

develop other areas of the brain? Children that are exposed to “good” art at an early age are more likely to succeed in

other areas of their lives.

The art program at Coffee and Canvas consists of instructor modeling with hands-on experience and plenty of space for

individual creative expression. We believe in exposing children to great masters of the past and helping them explore

different mediums. We believe art comes from the heart and we are here to model, guide, and encourage our students.

We provide critique and constructive comments based on the elements of art and principles of design for older students.

We also believe there are no “mistakes” in art, only happy accidents for our budding artists!
