Brethren, It is amazing how quickly this Masonic year has slipped past. As we find ourselves moving already into the month of November, we look back at October as one of the busiest months weve had at Cher- rydale Lodge. Not only did we have two amazing Stated Communica- tions, with delicious dinners and amazing presentations, but the brethren also traveled for two fraternal visits. Our first fraternal visit was to Kemper-Macon Lodge, where we had the privilege of seeing Worshipful Troy Van Winkle return his Entered Apprentice Catechism. Next, we traveled to Sharon Lodge and were able to see our own Brother Ed Jones preside in the East. This years efforts and commitment to Freemasonry by the Brethren at Cherrydale lodge has not gone unnoticed. Because of the many hours of dedication devoted to learning Catechisms and Lectures, to attending Ritual Schools and District conferences, for supporting local charities and youth organizations , for participating in community events, for supporting many fraternal visits, and for all the many other Masonic obligations Cherrydale Lodge supports; we have once again earned The James Noah Hillman Award. This award highlights the level of excellence Cherrydale Lodge fostered throughout the past year. Only through our continued commitment to the Craft has this achievement been reached. It is my true and sincere hope that this level of com- mitment can be met for years to come. As leaders in Freemasonry, Cherrydale Lodge has the op- portunity not only to foster this level of commitment among ourselves, but to all the brethren throughout the 54 th Masonic District and beyond. As we move into the month of November, the work in the quarries does not slow down. Not only will we have our regularly scheduled Stated Communication, but we also have a Fel- lowcraft Degree scheduled for November 9 th , at 7:00 pm. Please come and support our newest Brother as he continues his Masonic journey. We all remember how meaningful our Degrees were, and it is our obligation to assure his journey is filled with that same meaning. Nothing sup- ports a Brother more than the support of his Brethren on the sidelines. I look forward to seeing all the Brethren throughout the month of November. Also, please remember to bring a friend or a Brother to dinner before Lodge. Brethren, It is amazing how quickly this Masonic year has slipped past. As we find ourselves moving already into the month of November, we look back at October as one of the busiest months we’ve had at Cher-rydale Lodge.
