MODEL 1:4The constrcture is similar to the rip beams in the architecture. It support the thin plane on the top of the constructure and spread the load to every rib.Paper as a kind of relatively cheap material is easy to decomposed and recycled, so the chairs are economic and environmental.
1. MATERIAL
Paper Chair
The chairs and the table is made of paper because of the special mean of combination.They are simply designed to coordiate with the human engineering figures.And they can be piled up to make a half-circle.To move and pile the furniture easily,I decided to use a kind of light material--paper.The usage of paper in furniture design is quite common in today and the model I made is able to bear certain load.

Combination and FunctionThay can be combined to in any way.They are not only forming a half of a circle but also piled up in three demissions. In this way,all the units will occupy less area of the room. People can sit,lie,lean on and even exercise with the furniture.
For FunThe furniture also provides a new way for peole to stay and interact with each other, in the way like playing the game of hike-and-seek.
SpaceThe furniture can form a private space for the user,which is important to everyone. And it can be combined together in public places so that users can interact with each other.

2. FUNCTION
Multifunctional furniture
The furniture is seats for adults and a table for children. It provides a place for adults and children to interact with each other and at the same time to coordinate with their body sizes.Besides, to totally use the space ,the furniture can store little things for users.

IDEATION:Human is social. Children must be interacting with adults at some time. When I learnt human engineering, I found the height suitable for adults seats is close to that for children desks. So I tried to design a group of furniture shared by adults and children.
Function:The furniture serves as seats for adults and tables for children. And the space under the tops can store things for children since it is not too high to reach.
Geometry:The forniture can be combined together to form a closing circle to keep things secret and away from dust. 0

3. HUMAN BODY
A Super Comfortable Sofa
All the details and every part of the sofa is designed according to the movements and poses of people in it.Sofas are very often used for relaxation and can be used in personal spaces or living rooms.So the comfort and appearance of sofa is very important,which is the purpose ofthe design of the curly the back.

Formation andDetailsNormal sofa:Sitting straight in it
People may need a higher arm of the sofa to put their arms on it.
The declining back is more comfortable to lean on. And the curly line of the back fits the line of spine perfectly.
Rolling up in the corner is a good way to relax. I make the straight corner into a round corner to create more space.

4. STRUCTURE
Bed and Bedstand In the Air
When I surveyed at the beds, I felt confused why all the beds were put on the floors. I saw the structure of a suspension bridge so I designed a bed and bedstand hung in the air by the steel ropes.They look different and seem lighter, which gives the furniture a brand-new appearance.

Transmitting the load to the vertical structure
This structure is very stable but the appearance is complex. And it is not convenient to use from the bed because of the steel frame on the two sides.
It is mostly like the structure of the bridge but does not seem stable. When we use it in daily life, we may worry it to fall over.
The most obvious problem is the usage of the top. As we use the bedstand, we usually put things on it and the steel will limit the available height.

5. SPACE
Units of Table
IDEATION:The shape of the desktop is inspired by nature-ripples-and geometry-circles.The common point of the ripples and circles is that they can cross with each other and the overlapping parts have various shapes.I choose one of the most regular shapes in order to create more shapes by permutating and combining.
Function:To use and arrange these small tables into different shapes according to the places or time using them, the furniture makes rooms flexible, adaptable and funtional.
Space:They connect people together and enclose the space for co-work. And it can provide private space with the block of plants.

Construcions
Formation and Function :The units can be combined into different sizes of constructions according to the function. Every discrete unit is suitable for personal activities like study,work or rest, for people in it can stay away from the disturbance of others. And the central larger room will attract people to join in social activities.

Formation and FunctionNatureThere is an area of the top of each level prodruding from the rooms of upper level and this part is not very wide.So it is suitable for personal balconies.It provides a personal space to communicate with nature, which is very important for people to enjoy themselves and keep in good health and mood.

Formation and FunctionThe protruding part of the top of each level provides a space for people to enjoy the outdoor activities there. And it is a pathway through which nature becomes a part of people's life.The structure of this building greatly increases the area for vegetation and public activities.
The Fourth ViewWhat is more interesting is the different sunshine hours and averege temperature of the outdoor spaces on different levels.As a result, the vegetation can be of great diversity to create a colorful outward appearance.As we see from the sky,the shape of the top is quite beautiful and after the vegetation has been planted, the scene of the top of the city can be amazing.
