120th INDEPENDENCE DAY CELEBRATION and 1st INTERIM MEETING and PLANNING SESSION

Some fought for land and territory, some for power, some for selfless reasons... Perhaps fighting for love, whether for a person, a tribe, or a country, and for its freedom, makes the most sense... Today, we are one in celebrating INDEPENDENCE DAY for all the right reasons. Mabuhay ang Malayang Pilipinas! Mabuhay ang UAP! Mabuhay ang UAP Pampanga-San Fernando! Mabuhay ang UAP Cabalen-Pampanga! Mabuhay ang Arkitektong Pilipino!

Dacal pung salamat, City Government of San Fernando Pampanga headed by City Mayor, Hon. Edwin Santiago, and the Director of the City Tourism Office, Madam Ching Pangilinan for giving us the chance to become a part of this momentous event. Luid co pu!

We would like to take this opportunity to thank our dear Provincial Mother Chapter, the Uap Pampanga San Fernando Chapter, headed by our supportive outgoing Chapter President, Ar. SECOND INTERIM MEETINGThe UAP Cabalen-Pampanga Chapter held its 2nd INTERIM MEETING last June 20, 2018 at Boogie’s Cafe, City of San Fernando, Pampanga. The agenda is the plans and list of activities for the fiscal year 2018-2019, and the formation of the Executive Officers and Board of Directors. Chairpersons were also appointed during the meeting, to head the different activities and programs of the chapter.

THIRD INTERIM MEETING

With the Chartering and Induction Rites is approaching fast, the UAP Cabalen-Pampanga held its 3rd Interim General Membership Meeting last June 29, 2018, at Fortune HongKong Seafoods Restaurant, Gapan-Olongapo Road, City of San Fernando, Pampanga. The main agenda of the meeting was the preparation for the Chartering and Induction Rites which will be held on the 17 th of July, and the list of activities for the succeeding months. We are honored to be joined by our guests from the provincial mother chapter, the UAP Pampanga-San Fernando Chapter, Ar. Arturo Pineda Galang, Ar. Elmer T. Mercado, Ar. Albert Pabustan, and Ar. Nel De Guia, who shared valuable inputs and advices. Our sincerest gratitude, sirs! To God be the glory!

ORIENTATION FOR THE CHARTERING AND INDUCTION RITES

The UAP Cabalen-Pampanga Chapter Officers attended the Orientation for the Chartering and Induction Ceremonies held last July 5, 2018 at the UAP National Headquarters, Scout Rallos, Quezon City. The orientation was headed by the Executive Director for Internal Affairs, Arch. Corazon Fabia-Tandoc, FUAP, and the Chairman for Commitee on Membership, Arch. Vanessa Ledesma, and the Chairman for the Committee for Chapter Organization, Arch. Maribel Monilla-Collado. The orientation was graced by our UAP National President, Arch. Benjamin K. Panganiban Jr.

The UAP Cabalen-Pampanga chapter officers, live at TALAKAYAN NGAYON sa RW 95.1 FM! Ar. Hermel Gulapa, Charter President, Ar. Jayson Nicdao, Charter VP Operations, Ar. Joseph Edward Dela Cruz, Charter Secretary, and Ar. Oliver Gadia, Director for Government and External Affairs, attended the said interview. The main goal is to promote the architecture profession and introduce the new chapter of the UAP, the Cabalen-Pampanga Chapter.

“CO-LABORASYON” DISTRICT A2B JOINT INDUCTION CEREMONIES

The UAP Cabalen-Pampanga Chapter Executive Officers and Executive Directors attended the District A2B Joint Induction Ceremonies held last July 6, 2018 at The Bella Plaza, Tarlac City, Tarlac. Anchored on the theme, “Co-Laborasyon”, Ar. Raymond T. Co, District Director, gave importance and emphasis on the goals of the chapter, and some of these are team work and collaboration. It was attended by the 8 chapters of District A2B, plus the new kid on the block, the 9th Chapter of the district and the 155th Chapter of UAP, the Cabalen-Pampanga Chapter.

The district also gave due recognition and appreciation to the past district officers headed by the smart and indefatigable outgoing District Director, Ar. Edwin Michael T. De Dios. The event was also attended by the UAP National Executive Officers, headed by NP Ar. Benjamin K. Panganiban Jr.

The fiscal year 2018-2019 is full of bright aspirations, and the UAP is being steered into a much better and beautiful future, not just for the organization, but for the Architecture Profession in general.
