1st May – 10th May

• 3rd May : Prof Mahesh Bhanushali placed „Ms.

Vaibhavi Vanage‟ PGDM Finance student in well

known Financial research organization „Morning

Star‟ with the package of 3.3 Lakhs per annum. Her

designation will be „Data Research Analyst‟


• 3rd May- 12th May: Prof. Vibhuti Save on behalf of

examination department conducted MMS (2020-22)

Semester I Online Examination.

• 3rd May: Dr. Smita Jape shared question bank of

subject Financial Accounting with students.


• 5th May : Prof. Krunal K. Punjani & Prof.Siddhesh Soman were invited as Reviewers byAsian Journal of Management Cases – aScopus indexed & ABDC listed journal, andthey successfully completed the review work.

• 5th May : Monthly ADC Review meeting wasconducted by Dr. Smita Jape, Dr. PallaviChandwaskar, Prof. Sandeep Moghe and Prof.Vibhuti Save with all CRs of MMS first year.


• 6th May : Dr. Nitin Joshi, Dr. Meenakshi Malhotra

and Prof. Vibhuti Save presented Research Papers at

16th SIMSR Global Marketing Conference, 2021

organised by K. J. Somaiya Institute of Management.


• 6th May: Prof. Vibhuti Save submitted NBA data

related to external examiner of SIP & WIP appointed

for viva voce from 2016 to Dr. Pankaj Nandurkar.

• 7th May: Dr. Smita Jape shared data about MDP of

last 5 years for NBA documentation.

• 8th May: Prof. Vibhuti Save organised Cluster

meeting regarding MMS [2019-21] Project

Management Examination, which was addressed by

11th May – 20th May

• 11th May: Dr. Smita Jape conducted meeting

with mentee for explaining the IIC Business

plan competition.

• 11th May: Prof. Sangram Jagtap gave online

presentation on FDP attended by him on

“Trends and Strategies in Teaching Delivery

andAdministration”.


• 14th May: Dr. Smita Jape sent proposal of

Research FDP to Director sir.

• 14th May: Prof. Vibhuti Save on behalf of

examination department conducted

MMS [2019-21] Semester IV Mock test for

University Online Examination for the subject

Project Management.

15th May : Dr. Pankaj Nandurkar & Prof. Krunal K. Punjani

organized an Online Workshop on “Entrepreneurship

Development” conducted by Entrepreneurship trainer Mr.

Jitendra Gupta.



• 15th May: Dr. Meenakshi Malhotra along with

students of students engagement committee

organized BRIMS CONNECT.

• 15th May : Prof. Vibhuti Save on behalf of

examination department conducted

Save conducted meeting with Dr. Nitin Joshi, for

discussion about subject allocation and selection of

elective courses.



• 17th to 22nd May: Dr. Meenakshi Malhotra

attended one week capacity building program

on “Basics of Research Methodology”

organized by ICSSR-WRC & Department of

Commerce, University of Mumbai

17th May : Prof Mahesh Bhanushali placed „Ms.Saloni Ranbhare‟ MMS Finance student in a wellknown e commerce giant „Flipkart‟ with the packageof 3 Lakhs per annum. She is offered a job directly onFlipkart Payroll from first day.

18th May : Dr. Pallavi Chandwaskar conducted IQACmeeting with internal members of IQAC team forfinalising IQAC initiatives.

•18th May: Dr. Smita Jape discussed and called MrGanesh who is our alumni for internship of fewfinance students (8 students).


19th May : Prof. Kanchan Akshay conducted career

mentoring session on behalf of Dheya for 2 students.

She did shadow mentoring for one and for other

independent Mentoring and guided them for their

careers.

20th May : Prof. Kanchan Akshay placed MMS HR

student Jai Nangre in Infostretch in core HR profile of

Talent Acquisition with a package of 5.2 lacs p.a.


20th May: DR VN BRIMS started with the Webinar Series for

Aspiring MMS Students. The first webinar was conducted by

Dr. Nitin Joshi on “How MMS will help you in finding

Direction in your Career ?”



• 21st May: Dr. Smita Jape sent emails to Dr.

VV Kumar and Dr. Sanjeev kadam who are

resource person for upcoming Online Research

on topic “Business plan” for MMS First Year

students.

• 22nd May : Prof Mahesh Bhanushali successfully placed 7 first

year MMS students for the internship with 'Praedico Research‟

with stipend 10 K.

• 22nd May: CSR committee conducted webinar on “Bio

Diversity-The pool that Operates Ecosystem” in collaboration

with Hariyali Mulund. This was conducted by Dr. Neelam

Kulkarni, Chairperson of Hariyali Mulund.


• 24th May : Prof. Kanchan Akshay placed 3 HR

students for Summer Internship with Nirmiti

Academy.

• 24th May : Dr. Pallavi Chandwaskar organised

and conducted a Summer Internship Guidance

session on behalf of IQAC and ADC with Prof.

Vibhuti Save for MMS first year students.


• 24th May : Dr. Meenakshi Malhotra created a

new video for students on the topic

“Selection of Research Topic”.

Empowering Libraries for Modern Day

Services organized by North East

• 27th May : The second Webinar for Aspiring Students was

conducted by Prof. Dipti Periwal and Prof. Vibhuti Save on

“How MMS will help you in getting complete business

Soman ideated, designed, marketed & successfully organized 3

Days Online FDP on “How to Write Case Study & Teaching Note

for Scopus Indexed Journals” which was attended by 56

participants


• 27th May : Under CSR activity Dr. Smita Jape organized

session on “Guidance on Psychological Skills to helpers

during Pandemic”. The speaker of the session was Jayshree

Jani from MGNCRE(Mahatma Gandhi National council for

Rural Education).


• 29th May: Dr. Smita Jape, Prof. Pravin Narang and Shweta

Nair organized Online Alumni Meet. Many esteemed Alumni

from India, Germany, US and Ireland joined the alumni meet

and shared their experiences. Dr Smita Jape gave welcome

address for the alumni meet .


• 29th May : Dr. Nitin Joshi was invited byUdoyag Anubhav Pratisthan for releasing theirmagazine.

• 29th May : Nidhi broking signed an agreementfor consulting assignment with DR VNBRIMS.

• 31st May: No Tobacco day was celebrated. 72participant including student and Staff ofBrims took “No Tobacco” pledge


• 31st May to 4th June: Dr. Meenakshi Malhotra and

Prof. Kanchan Akshay organized 5 days workshop on

“Ace your Next Interview”. Dr. Nitin Joshi guided

the participants on “Career Design”. The Workshop

received overwhelming response from the

participants.

• Dr. Meenakshi Malhotra wrote an article

“Psychological Traps that Investors Should Avoid”

and Prof. Vibhuti Save wrote on “Search Yourself in

YOU!!!” for DR VN BRIMS website

• Library team uploaded the 80 eBooks in May.
