From this poster we are going to use the idea of the couple together on the front. This is because we feel it shows that the film is a romance. We also think that it shows how in love the couple are, because of their body language and how close they are.

We also like the idea of the light around the couple. We might use an idea similar to this because our storyline is much like the one of Titanic, in that the woman is of higher class and is “in the wrong” by being in love with the man from a lower class.

We like the idea of the way the light represents the mood, because we feel that it could relate to our own film.

Because our film is in black and white, we are going to make the poster in black and white, like this one is.

We are going to use screen shots from the actual film as images in the poster, in the same way too.

In the film, the only thing in colour is the little girl in the red coat, in the same way that in our film the only thing in colour is the red rose. This is because it is very significant and is what brings the couple together.

On our poster we are going to use the same style of this poster, putting the red rose on there, in colour, while everything else is in black and white.

We like the idea of the transparent writing over the picture, we would like to do something similar to this because it gives the poster more of an edge, and makes it look less boring, as there is more to look at. It also means that people look more deeply into the poster, meaning they are more likely to want to watch it, rather than just taking a glance at it and not being interested.

We are very interested in the layout of this poster and would like to use something similar. This is because we like the banner and the lower part of the poster. We think the idea of two pictures separated by the banner, is very effective because it shows two different, significant elements of the film.

In the lower part of the poster, we would like to put a picture of our rose, this is because it is a very significant part of the film.

We would like our tagline to be shown on the poster, because we feel it would give a good insight into the film and make people more interested in it, therefore wanting to watch it.
