OPPORTUNITY OVERVIEWSame location since 1973; retailing fine wines, beer, spirits, gourmet foods, and tobacco productsfrom our 6600 square foot building. Our property, built in 1836 is the oldest commercial building onMain St. in Great Barrington.
PROJECT BENEFITSAs stewards of the environment, we are proud to help protect and sustain the environment by saving energy and reducing greenhouse gas emissions. We no longer have to maintain a supply of hazardous and wasteful replacement bulbs (containing mercury) or ballasts. We will be saving thousands of dollars of energy costs each year.
The quality of light and illumination levels are sensational. It is a great upgrade for our customers. Energy Source consultant, Walt Pazderski helped me select the correct lighting for each department.The right lighting now helps us highlight the bottles on our shelves. We merchandise much more effectively. We have received many positive comments; our customers love the new lighting.
