Superlatives can also be used when detailing the location.Miraculously, there is a realistic 15-20 minute walk tocharming Castelmuzio - a town with a good restaurant, smallfriendly store, superb frantoio and the familiar atmosphere ofvillage life. Montisi a lovely 3 kms drive away - has even moreto offer, truffle hunting, cooking classes, more restaurantsand more olive oil. The Crete Senesi is an ancient territoryand has been crisscrossed by pilgrims, monks and merchantsfor as long as records have been kept. • Casale Pieve occupies three quarters of a larger structure.There remains one small apartment of a local elder who livesnext door and keeps hens and a rooster, and has windowsoverlooking the Garden Terrace. There are cats and a dog onthe neighboring farm who are friendly and inquisitive, theyare not under any circumstance

s permittted in the house. The open parking area is shared.There are some visitors to the neighbor and church whogenerally use a separate parking area next to the farmentrance. Please inquire before booking for further details asneeded. There are cats around the entrance who will strayonto the grounds of Casale Pieve. Usage of all the spacesdescribed as Casale Pieve are completely private unlessindicated.

• Up-to-date radiant heating-cooling ensures year-roundcomfort throughout the house. Temperatures range from 20- 35 degrees. Please discuss your needs before booking.
