I am pleased to support the re-nomination of Dr. Jonathan Li of the Department of Geography
and Environmental Management, University of Waterloo, Ontario, Canada for the position of
Chair of the ICA Commission on Sensor-driven mapping. He has worked in this role since the
formation of the commission in 2015 and continues with the two existing vice-chairs of the
commission. His research specialisation areas and publications are central to the interests of this
group. I believe he is well placed to continue the commission work and to enable future progress
of the commission.
