The bartenders will advise you how the process works when you come to buy tickets. We will still be selling our tickets, as usual, from 6:15 - 8:15 pm at the Legion the Saturday night of the draw.

TD Summer Reading Club
The Souris Public Library welcomes you to another fun summer with the TD Summer Reading Club - Canada’s biggest summer reading program for kids of all ages. For 2017, the theme of the program will be "Canada" in order to celebrate Canada's 150. Weekly programming will be available starting July 4th and running on the following days/times.

Souris Public Library: New Hours! Based upon the feedback in our recent public survey, the library will be adjusting its hours of operation (we will still be open the same number of hours each week though!). Starting July 1st, the Library's new hours will be: Tuesday: 4:00 pm - 7:00 pm Thursday: 4:00 pm - 7:00 pm Friday: 10:00 am - 12:00 noon, 12:30 - 6:00 pm Saturday: 10:00 am - 3:30 pm

SOURIS AND AREA WILDLIFE INFORMATION 1. Attention - Adventurers of All Ages! Join us for a unique chance to explore unseen parts of Basin Head, from the beautiful sand dunes to looking at life in the lagoon! This interactive experience lets you delve into the past and present of this Marine Protected Area and includes a guided walk, beach picnic and a net pull in the lagoon. It is being offered Tuesdays and Thursdays at 9:30am at Basin Head. Join us for an authentic natural PEI experience from July 4th through to August 31st . Cost: $25/adult, $10/child. 5’s and under FREE Contact: Frances Braceland at 902-687-4115 or [email protected]. 2) Souris & Area Branch of the PEI Wildlife Federation’s 5th Annual Lobster Fundraising Dinner is coming up on Sunday, August 6th at the Eastern Kings Sportsplex in Souris from 4 to 6 pm. This is our biggest fundraiser with all profits directed towards environmental enhancement initiatives in the area. Tickets are $25 for adults and $15 for children and the lobster plate will include a delicious homemade seafood chowder, hors d'oeuvres consisting of a variety of smoked fish, a traditional lobster dinner with all of the fixings or ham as an alternative plus a tasty blueberry shortcake for dessert. Eat in or take out is available. Your ticket purchase also includes your 'Souris & Area Wildlife' membership card or a ‘Junior Souris Wildlife’ membership card for the kids! Tickets will be available through Vernon d’Eon and Remedy's Rx in Souris and at both Souris and Montague offices of The Cooperators: Jansen McKinnon & Associates.
