ANATOMICAL SHAPE - a sleeping bag of narrower shape tightly fitting to your figure, with closed hood. If you like sleeping on your side, so you have to turn on your side together with the sleeping bag. This shape in combination with 3D structure is used for 3-season sleeping bags.

WOMEN’S SHAPE - this shape is based on the classic-cut sleeping bags and its shape is more closely matched to women’s body shape. The bag design is wider in the hip area.

EN 13537 standard unifies the requirements for thermal insulation properties of sleeping bags and is focused on normal consumer. Temperature ratings are determined according to this standard. The upper extreme temperature [Tmax] determines maximal temperature at which unpleasant warmth begins to develop in the closed sleeping bag. However, limits of thermal comfort are more important since they specify to what lowest temperatures the sleeping bag can be used. Two temperature ratings are used as limits of thermal comfort – comfort temperature [Tcomf] for woman with weight of 60 kg (with temperature of skin not under 32.8 °C) and limit temperature [Tlim] for man with weight of 70 kg (with temperature of skin not under 32.9 °C). If the temperature falls under the specified value the user begins to feel cold. Extreme temperature [Text] is rather a speculative information specifying in which coldness the user would survive in sleeping bag without suffering serious harm to health. It should be added, however, that it is the combination of insulation properties of sleeping bag, basal metabolism, actual body dispositions and changing climatic conditions which determine how we will sleep in the sleeping bag at night.
