One: Blessed is the one who comes in the name of God. Blessed are you, who come to worship the one who calls us and leads us into life. All: We bring our thanks and praise to God. For if we were silent, the very stones we walk on would shout out His praises!

Untie it and bring it here. 31 If anyone asks you, ‘Why are you untying it?’ just say this, ‘The Lord needs it.’” 32 So those who were sent departed and found it as he had told them. 33 As they were untying the colt, its owners asked them, “Why are you untying -1-

the colt?” 34 They said, “The Lord needs it.” 35 Then they brought it to Jesus; and after throwing their cloaks on the colt, they set Jesus on it. 36 As he rode along, people kept spreading their cloaks on the road. 37 As he was now approaching the path down from the Mount of Olives, the whole multitude of the disciples began to praise God joyfully with a loud voice for all the deeds of power that they had seen, 38 saying, “Blessed is the king who comes in the name of the Lord! Peace in heaven, and glory in the highest heaven!” 39 Some of the Pharisees in the crowd said to him, “Teacher, order your disciples to stop.” 40 He answered, “I tell you, if these were silent, the stones would shout out.” MONOLOGUES: Last Days Tell Me the Story of Jesus -arr. Good Friday. At 7:00PM on Good Friday, we will host a Tenebrae Service in the sanctuary in which a mixture of Scripture readings and musical interludes will occur. Follow along as the lights of the candles are snuffed out one by one as a reflection of how the “Light of the World” was taken from humanity by his unjust execution upon the cross at the hands of sinful men. This service is a sobering reminder that all of us had a role to play in what took place in Jerusalem on that black day in history. We embrace the sorrow of this day in anticipation of the joy to come on Easter Day.

Easter. Sunday, March 27th is Easter Day! Join us as we celebrate the Risen Lord Jesus, and embrace his presence in the world today. Please join us – and bring a friend.
