Why Did I Choose This Topic?

I chosed this topic because I like the way music sounds in a car or truck when you have a sound system on it. And I wanted to learn how to install a sound system and what kind of tools you need.

Having a good sound system involves buying

amplifier, Subwoofers, Speakers, you can also buy a new stereo. For you to buy all these stuff you need about 1,200 dollars.

What Do You Need To Buy To Have For Sound System

The cars always have four speakers mostly there is

always two in the front and two in the back , they are broken down into two speakers. One pair of speakers if for the highs and another pair is for the bass.

An amplifier provides extra power for the speakers and extra channels of power for any additional speakers that you want to install. The most common use of amplifiers is to power up the subwoofers.

The subwoofers are part of any good sound system you hear. The subwoofers provide the deep bass that the small speakers can not achieve.

Know About The Car Speakers, Amplifiers, and Subwoofers.

The speakers go connected to the head unit

(stereo).Most of the people when they install a new head unit they install new speakers.

The Amplifiers also go connected to the head unit via an RCA cable and often to a (remote on) wire. The amplifier also connects directly to the battery of your car through a fused (hot) wire and to the chassis of the car with a short ground wire. One single amplifier goes connected to a pair of subwoofers.

The Subwoofers are connected to the amplifier. The subwoofers are mostly always placed on the top of the subwoofer box.

How Many Steps Is There For The Installation To Get Done

Always read the installation guides that come with your new car

stereo equipment or anything else you buy that is new. If your preparing to connect the speaker wires and you are not sure

witch wire is positive or negative or witch wire goes to witch speaker, take a 9-volt battery and touch the speaker wires to the battery, one of the speakers will move. If the speaker moves forward or out, then that means you have touched the positive lead of the speaker. If the speaker moves back then the wire touching positive terminal of the battery is the negative speaker wire.

Never have your speaker or signal wires run near the amplifiers power cables

Also never work on the electrical system of your car with the ground wire attached to the battery, that will damage your equipment and your self
