after i wathced the movie of prohpet ibrahim, i chosed the character to make their chlothes, i chose harbak. i design the costume harbak with my partner aulia. we have to make the design a bit dark color because harbak is the bad person in this case. me and aulia prefer dark colors like: maroon,dark blue, black, and a little bit of gold to make it a bit luxurious because he’s one of the worker of raja namrud.

this design is my inspiration because the design is simple and yet so elegant.

in this design i have to add more dark color so the audience is not confuse to know what kind of person is he because usually bad people often use dark color instead of bright colors. black colors usually tell that this person has dark aura that’sw why bad people often use dark color.

i chose to design harbak’s clothes because, i wanted to try to create bad vibes costumes and express my idea on the design. by designing this chlotes i caan get more knowledge and the struggle that people always face when the have to make a clothes.

I add the gold ribbon to make it a little bit luxurious so the clothe will not be to plain, I want the clothe to be a little bit luxurious because harbak work for the king and automatically if he wok for the king he’s provided by the luxurious. I add the gold ribbon in ach side of the outer

I also add a turban because usually back the they use a turban. I add a turban for their accessories head and I used that

because I want to the costume to be full but not full by colors but full by accessories.

black outter: to give the bad person vibe

black and white dress: black and red and white is a good combination, besides if we put too much dark color if we took a picture of it it’s not going to be nice because there’s too much dark colors.

maroon belt: to make the gradation of red color.

I add the red belt to make a little gradation of red. I also chose to add a red belt is because I want to add an accessories in the waist to make it a little bit elegant and luxurious but I’m using a red fabric to make the belt.

I’m choosing that fabric to be the inside of the outer because these motif is so simple and fresh in our eyes.

we made this design to be simple yest so elegant because if there’s too much accecoriess or too much color the design will be too much for a villager. villager often used this kind of chlothing because the didnt have the money to buy such a chlothes. me and auia also think about the condition ack then to match the design and the condition back then wether its match or not.

after we had a meeting with mr.arie he told us that we have to use simple color (neutral) instead of neon color so in my design I use simple color. I only use: red, white, black, gold it’s pretty simple because usually bad people use simple color or should I say black. Mr Arie also told us that we have to make the costume based on the person’s personality.
