Did Not Influence Roman Culture Moderately Influenced Roman Culture Greatly Influenced Roman Culture The Roman religion was based more off the Greek Mythology than the Etruscan Mysticism. Etruscan Government taught the Romans that to have a be successful you must have a powerful government. The engineering of the Etruscans helped Rome carry water from one place to another. Greek pottery didn’t affect Roman culture because they were just storage jars that could be made any way you want. Greek writing moderately affected Rome because it was the basis of the Etruscan alphabet. The Roman gods were similar to the gods and goddesses of the Greeks. Greek coinage didn’t affect the Romans because they could come up with their own coinage. Etruscan sports are important because the main games of Rome were gladiator events that started with the Etruscans. Roman buildings were formatted very similar to the Greek monumental buildings. Etruscan metalworking wasn’t significant because it was just Basic metalworking And wasn’t unique to that culture. Greek philosophy was important because philosophy was a branch of science in Greece. The Etruscan design for the arch was an important design structure. The Etruscan social organization was not important to Rome because social structures was different in the every civilization. The Etruscan sculpture design was unique from other sculptures because they put age into their works of art instead of glorifying the human subjects. Greek scientist, Pythagoras, came up with a math theory used everywhere known as the Pythagorean Theorem.
