    This report is made to know

    if the establishment WaterDistrict is following any

    does it really exist. We went

    to the establishment to

    gather data. We interviewedemployees from the Human

    Resource Center.

    We went to Water District to knowcertain things. First, is to know what

    kind of business letter they require fromtheir employee. Second, what otherbusiness letters are present in their

    company? And lastly, what are thequalifications you specify from anapplicant in order for him/ her to be

    employed? And some things weincluded are connection with the threemain questions we are focusing.

    First, what kind of application letter

    do you require from the employee?

    The company requires their

    employees to submit a businessletter type written in English and

    basically stating applicants

    capabilities such as application letterand resume.

    English? Because our second

    language is English and some

    companies are affirming thatto be formal, one must use

    English.

    in the company? Water District are usinglots of business letters that are present in

    their company and they are the

    Appointment, Procurement, Inquiries,Notice of Disconnection, Loan

    Application, Request for Legal Opinion,

    Resignation Letter, Application for Leave,and Application for Employee.

    Request letters are simple request

    information favors,

    appointments, reservations and

    so on. The person the personwho writes these letters is

    secretary or stenographers which

    wrote for their employees.

    The Procurement Letter focuses on the

    applicant's experience and ability to compile

    information and records to draw up purchase

    orders for procurement of materials and

    services. All procurement letters will help

    people find jobs easily if they focus on their

    ability to do the job effectively.

    Letters of Inquiries are

    often using to askinformation; it is also under

    request letters becauseletters of request are

    simple requesting forinformation.

    Notice of Disconnection is used when a

    customer did not pay their water bills and this

    are delivered in the houses of the customers

    so that they would know that they would

    know that they made laps in paying the water

    bill.

    Request for Legal Opinion also

    considered as Request letterbecause it is asking for favors of

    opinions. This is used when the

    company needs legal assistant

    and they hire lawyers.

    Resignation Letter, of course is

    very common. This letter is usedwhen an employee is going toretire from working or resigning

    for the position. In cases like forexample, the employee was sickor got tired with the job. This

    often occurs when the employeehave reached 60 Years Old.

    Resignation letters can be as much or as little

    as you would like. Keep them positive and

    remember that the end goal is to maintain a

    positive relationship with the employer. There

    are three types of resignation letters and they

    are basic, due to relocation, and heartfelt.

    Here is an example of a Heartfelt Resignation Letter:

    Application for Leave letters are also

    present in the company, under these

    are sick leave/ vacation leave, special

    leave and mandatory leave. Sick

    leave is often used when theemployee got sick and needs some

    rest. Special leave is also called

    maternal leave; this is when anemployee is going to have a baby.

    Most workers are paid for public holidays,

    except for contract workers and casual

    employees who are paid for hours

    worked. Other paid leave, for most

    workers except those mentioned above,

    should include annual or recreation

    leave, sick leave and long service leave.

    The award or agreement covering

    employees will have information about

    their leave entitlements and explain the

    pay arrangement for public holidays.

    Application for employees often receiveshundreds of applications for one job and theycant possibly interview each person who

    applies. Therefore, the personnel recruiteruses the letter of application a basis on whichto settle those who will be called for personalinterview. Effective application letters can

    open doors to a brighter future. Applicationletters can make you stand out from otherapplicants.

    Regarding with the employment process

    the company that they ask for an

    applicant is depending on the positions.

    Some positions require Civil Service

    eligibility such as the provided for in the

    Plantilla. Other positions such as for

    Manual labor are casual and do not

    require college level of education and

    eligibility.

    The Medical Records Letter acknowledgesinterest in the systematic documentation

    What is a Police Clearance Certificate?

    Certificate contains offence history. List

    of all offences in all courts. Spent

    conviction legislation: if a person is

    convicted of an offence in the

    magistrates court, if that person commits

    no further offences, the conviction will

    be deleted from the persons record after

    10 years. If the person commits a further

    offence, the record will remain.

    2.5 years imprisonment is never erased from

    the record. Why might one be required? Staff

    and students undertaking activities in schools

    are required to clear a police check.

    As an end of our interview, we asked ifthis requirement is necessary and why is

    it necessary? Their answer was Yes,because we need employee workers thatare physically fit in their job; we want to

    assure that new employed workers haveno history in drug abuse/ worker was notphysically ill. We also want to assure theemployee workers backgroundespecially his/ her educationalbackground and eligibility.

    Now we know why Water District

    had good employee workers thatcome from a good background and

    they good character. They are very

    strict in terms of their newapplicants health because they

    wont allow them to work when they

    had physical illness.

    employees we interviewed were verykind and they really mingled with us.
