Programme Structure
This programme is designed to meet the academicrequirements for professional recognition. Theprogramme is also intentionally positioned to beapplied and practically relevant.
This programme has an honours option. Studentswho achieve a CGPA of 3.5 and above uponcompletion of their basic degree will be invited topursue the honours programme, which will beoffered only if the requisite number of studentssign up for it. To graduate with a basic degree,students are required to complete a total of 130
credit units (cu) of courses, inclusive of 10 cu ofuniversity core courses and 10 cu of GeneralElectives, which are courses offered under theGeneral Studies Programme (course pre-requisiteapplies). A total of 170 cu is required to graduatewith honours, inclusive of a 10 cu CapstoneProject.

BCA Academy of the Built Environment is theeducation and research arm of Singapores Buildingand Construction Authority (BCA). BCA Academyprovides quality training and research programmesfor the advancement of the building industry andthe development of an excellent built environment.

AdmissionsYou will be considered for admission if youmeet these minimum eligibility criteria: GCE A level with two passes (prior to
2006) or two H2 passes (from 2006), or localpolytechnic diploma;
Two years of work experience or currentlyemployed on a full-time basis; and 21 years old and above.
Candidates with an acceptable SAT score may beconsidered for admission on a case-by-case basis.All applications are considered individually onmerit, and the offer of admission depends on thenumber of places available. Admission is solelywithin the discretion of UniSIM.
A through-train progression path is speciallydesigned for students who have excelled intheir diploma studies and specialising in a build-ing and project management related diploma.Students who are eligible for this programme

required documents together with your admis-sion application. Incomplete applications willnot be considered.
Tuition Fees and Government SubsidyThe amount of course fee you pay in eachsemester depends on the number of coursesyou take in that semester. Course fees cover allstudy materials, classes, supervision, assign-ments and examinations. They do not include
costs for textbooks and other additional itemsspecified by UniSIM from time to time.
Students enrolled in this programme may beeligible for up to 55% government subsidy oncourse fee.
