Sports Industry The Sports Management Club wants to thank you all for coming to our event on Thursday. We hope that we will develop a strong relationship through the rest of the year and help each other to achieve our professional goals.

On Thursday 12th we enjoyed listening for an hour at two amazing speakers as:

- Eduardo Cantelli. Ex Marketing Manager at Real Madrid and current lecturer at IE Business School

- Juan Useros. Promotions Manager at Spanish Basketball Federation.

Starting from scratch

If you are highly motivated towards taking part in a club you may start thinking about what Eduardo and Juan insisted last Thursday.

If our starting point will be a club or a federation, there’s no choice but start from scratch. It means, working for free and be eager to carry out any task.

Working abroad

You can consider working abroad since there are more opportunities than in Spain. Check ‘Global Sports Jobs’ if you are interested in going global.

Step Up. Make a differenceBe active. The Sports Industry is a tough place to work and only those that stand out will be the ones able to succeed.

No matter where you work. Wherever you end up working, you will have to push yourself to the limit. Both Eduardo and Juan have repeated it during the whole conference.

You must search for events or places where you can find people that work at your desired workplace. A good tool is LinkedIn, you will never believe how eager is people to answer questions!
