Introduction

Read all safety and operation instructions before installing and using your BTK330 Bluetooth Keyboard.

Warning

To reduce the risk of fire or electric shock, do not expose this Bluetooth keyboard to water or moisture.

Important Safety Instructions

1. Do not expose the BTK330 to liquid, moisture or areas of high humidity.

2. Do not expose the BTK330 to extremely high or low temperatures.

3. Do not attempt to open or modify the BTK330 in any way.

4. Always dispose of the packaging and unit in accordance with the local regulations and in a responsible manner.

5. To avoid electronic interference and/or compatible conflicts, do not use the BTK330 in any facilities where posted notices instruct you to do so. For example: Aircraft, Military Base, Hospital or Health Care Facilities.

6. Keep away of fire, water, and high voltage equipments.

7. Store the BTK330 in a cool dry place.

Operation

1. Battery Installation

The Bluetooth keyboard uses two AAA alkaline batteries and can be replaced on the back of the unit.

2. Turn Unit On/Off

Flip the switch on the back of the keyboard to the ON or OFF position. The key-board will automatically enter standby mode when it is not in use to conserve battery power.


3. Bluetooth Pairing

a. The Bluetooth Keyboard needs to be paired to a Bluetooth device before using. Press the “Esc” and the “K” key together. The LED on the back of the keyboard will blink quickly. Activate the Bluetooth function on your device that you wish to connect to and search for and pair to the BTK330.

For iPad

Navigate to Settings > General > Bluetooth (On), then select the BTK330 to pair the keyboard.

For all other devices

Please follow your device’s instructions on how to perform Bluetooth pairing.

b. The BTK330 Bluetooth keyboard will automatically connect with your device once initial setup is complete.

6. In-depth Bluetooth Pairing on iPad

1. Navigate to the Bluetooth settings of your iPad.


2. Put the BTK330 into pairing mode by pressing the Esc and K keys together.


3. Select the BTK330 keyboard from the list and enter the PIN code on the keyboard,followed by pressing the Enter key.

After entering the PIN code, the pairing process is complete.


Troubleshooting and FAQ

1. Unable to pair to the keyboard

Ensure that the Bluetooth keyboard is in pairing mode (see Bluetooth Pairing section). Now open the Bluetooth configuration on your smart phone or tablet and scan for Bluetooth devices. You should see the BTK330 - proceed to pair and connect the keyboard.

2. BTK330 no longer connects to my device

To ensure the BTK330 Bluetooth keyboard is in working order, delete all existing pairings on all devices and complete the Bluetooth pairing process again.

3. How can I tell when the battery is low?

When the battery is low, the LED on the back of the unit will blink red intermit-tently. If at any point you are unable to resolve your issue, you can contact Kinivo Support via email at [email protected]. You may also visit www.kinivo.com or support.kinivo.com for more information.


Warranty

1 Year Limited Hardware Warranty.

Kinivo hereby warrants to the customer of record that this product is in good-

working condition and free from defects in material or workmanship under

normal use for a duration of 1 year after the date of purchase. The product has

been tested to meet the highest quality standards in each testing category. In

the unlikely event that the product proves to be defective, Kinivo will repair or

replace the product free of charge. If replacement is required and if Kinivo then

no longer carries the same product, then Kinivo reserves the right to substitute

the product with a replacement product of like quality and size, suitable for the

intended use.

This warranty is limited to repair or replacement of the mentioned product only,

is non-transferable and does not extend to any product damaged by misuse,

natural disasters or any other circumstances beyond Kinivo’s control. The war-

ranty does not cover or provide for the reimbursement or payment of incidental

or consequential damage resulting from breach of the limited warranty de-

scribed above. Except for the limited warranty described above we offer no oth-

er warranties expressed or implied, and other than limited warranty expressly

contained herein, we hereby disclaim any and all warranties, including without


limitation any implied warranties of merchantability, suitability or fitness for a

particular purpose.
