The Conseravatives have been running the City Council in Peterborough for 14 years!

During this period in charge, they've sold off our schools, closed public toilets, charged for brown bin collections, wasted millions of £'s on unwanted or required vanity projects and much, MUCH more!

During this time, they have also rewarded themselves with thousands of pounds in extra salaries and given significant pay rises to already high paid senior officers at the Town Hall, who support them in their projects.

The current system concentrates power in thehands of the Tory council leader and a fewsenior cabinet members. Most councillors,even those in the controlling group have littlepower or influence. Scrutiny of the cabinet isgenerally weak, underresourced andineffective.
