Energy OpportunitiesProblems often present opportunities and solutions create potential income.

The ECOWAS region has enormous energy resources but only a small percentage is utilised.

The rate of access to electricity is the lowest in the world and prices are high in real terms.

Bulk power consumers in mining and industry face intermittent electricity supply which adversely effects production and profitability.

Blox Energy is currently targeting this shortfall between energy supply and demand in ECOWAS and conducting ongoing research.

Energy OpportunitiesOur approach is to identify, quantify and understand the energy market in ECOWAS. This process is already underway.

Then allocate future mining income streams to developing Smart Energy solutions for the region.

Smart Energy OptionsRoll out of future projects in phases, funded by cash flow and potential joint venture equity.

Smart Energy requires research and development.

Existing US-based NGOs dedicated to the research, development, commercialization, and deployment of renewable energy and energy efficiency technologies.

Blox, Inc. will form the link between the US technology and the end user in ECOWAS.

Smart Energy includes biogas, hydro, geothermal, solar, wind and hydrogen. Also energy conservation such as insulation and more efficient lighting solutions.

LNGFirst step will be to employ already available cleaner and more economical energy to establish cash flow for future R&D.

First potential option is Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG).

Can be used to replace diesel in a number of applications in addition to power generation. These include domestic heating and cooking, road transport and shipping.

LNG produces around 20% less Carbon Dioxide (CO2) emissions than diesel, almost 100% less Sulphur Oxide (SOx) and metal particulates (PM) and 90% less Nitrogen Oxide (NOx).

Despite using 1.6-times the volume of diesel to recover the same amount of energy (Joules), LNG is up to 60% cheaper than diesel (subject to jurisdictional excises and levies).

Smart TechnologyBlox, Inc. is currently investigating a substantial mineral sands deposit in West Africa.

This sand has a multitude of potential applications and end-user markets.

One prospective application in the separation of the Silica content for use in the production of cutting-edge photovoltaic cells for solar energy.

Can be used in the production of decorative Granite tiles using new European technology, manufactured in West Africa.

One component of the mineral sands can be processed and used as a highly effective, low cost, fertilizer – ideal for increasing domestic agricultural output.

Integration of mineral sands and Smart Technology is within our mission guidelines and has the potential to yield another stream of ongoing royalties.

Smart Technology Inside BloxBlox, Inc. is following its own methodology of maximizing efficiency and minimizing waste with its internal systems.

Developing bespoke software solutions to streamline and save costs associated with regulatory reporting.
