Project—Means of Transport
To give the children hands on experience of how
we travel via different modes of transportation ,an
airport, a station and a traffic park were set up.
Powerpoint presentation on the topic was shown
Rhymes and Songs
Safety on Road through dramatization
Booklet on Road Signs
Special Assembly by KG C, D and G.
This was followed by a craft activity where the
children made traffic signals by sticking the red, or-
ange and green coloured stickers in the correct order.

Events:
Global School Play Day – Unstructured Play
The children brought different kinds of board games,
soft toys etc from home and played with their class
mates in groups.
Family Day:
Parents of all the sections of KG were invited to
celebrate the Family Day in the school campus.
Various activities were planned, conceptualized
and presented by the parents as a group. Activities
such as races, fun games and interesting cultural
programmes along with snacks were organised.

Fun races were organised for the children in the school ground in

To enhance and develop the social skills in children , they were taken out to the playground where
they played games of their choice without any set rules to be abided by.

EVS : 1. TOPIC : WATER
Write a slogan on ‘Save Water’ .
2. TOPICS : WEATHER AND SEASONS & CLOTHES WE WEAR
Collect pictures of yourself wearing different dresses during differ-
ent seasons and paste them in your scrap book.
Dress-up the dolls : one according to the summer season and the
other according to the winter season.

better understanding of the topics.

Science Days:
Science experiments on ‘Air’
and ‘Water’ :
Simple science experiments
introducing basic scientific con-
cepts were performed by the
children in the class
Activity: Global Unstructured Play Day
was observed on 8th February. The
children enjoyed playing games of their
choice with their friends.
Outing: The students of classes 3 ,4 &
5 went for a nature walk cum picnic to
the MCD Model Park, Pushp Vihar,
where they become familiar with differ-
ent kinds of plants and trees.
Special Assemblies:
Class 3G presented a special assembly
on HIna Matsuri, the Japanese Doll Fes-
tival. The assembly showcased the
Doll Festival as a festival celebrating
the girl child.
The students of class 3E put up a spe-
cial assembly on the topic “Land Of
Buddha”. They dramatized the enlight-
ment of Lord Buddha and the principles
of Buddhism.
The topic of the special
assembly of class 3F was
‘Incredible India’. It re-
flected the diversity of
Indian culture and the
astounding steps taken
forward by the country in
recent years.

Celebrations: Club Fiesta
Classes 3, 4 & 5 held their Annual Club Fiesta where in the
students of 22 clubs showcased their talent and dexterity in
different fields of their choice.
Achievements:
Aparna Gopakumar and Suhani Bafna of class 5E won certificates in the Best Entry Category in the newsletter—’Young Intach’ on the topic “ My Nature
Story”.
Ms. Richa Nagpal of Junior School won the second prize in the ‘Teachers’ Short Story Writing Competi-
tion’ organised by British Council at the International Level.
Workshop:
A workshop titled ‘ Role of Body Language And Non-Verbal Communication In Teaching’ was taken by Ms. Kiran Misra for the staff.
