ThenewTRCInc.teamhasrestructuredthebusinessunitswithintheorganization,toanticipateandrapidlyrespondtocustomers’quicklychangingneeds.InJanuary,2017,TRCsecured$45millioninfundingfromthestateofOhioandTheOhioStateUniversityforcriticalexpansionandimprovementprojectsatits4500-acrefacility,includingfundingforthefirstphaseoftheSmartMobilityAdvancedResearchandTestCenter(SMARTCenter).

Throughouthiscareer,safetyhasbeenHotta’stoppriority.In2008,hefoundedDrivingSafetyInternational,LLC,anorganizationthatprovidesadvisoryandexpertconsultingservicestomitigatepotentialforlossininherentlyhigh-riskoperationsbydevelopingandimplementingcomprehensivesafetyprotocols,operatingsystems,andadvancedtrainingprograms.Thecompanyalsodevelopedproprietaryinnovativeproductandserviceconceptstorevolutionizeandenhancedrivingsafety.
