About:

As a committee member for BIFM North, I’m involved in the marketing, videography, graphic design,

social media activities and the promotion of various BIFM events in the North Region.

Working in a team of FM professionals which includes: Mark Whittaker, Sue Gott, Michael Anderson,

Sarah Marles, Mark Muncaster, Tony Vander Vliet Justin, Lawson and Steve Roots we help educate our

members on various FM topics through seminars, networking events and careers days.

In 2014 we hope to reach out to more Facilities Management Professionals and are aiming to share

more content from our events so that for members who are unable to attend can still benefit and

learn from key industry professionals and selected FM subjects.

Project Title: BIFM North Event Promotion

Project Details:

I set about producing a full digital media

package, that we could use to promote our

second BIFM North Key Learning Event based

around Career Development in Facilities

Management sector.

I filmed, designed and produced two videos,

an event poster, various digital designs

promoted via our social media channels and

photographed the event.

Project Title: BIFM North Event Promotion

Project Details:

I set about producing a full digital media package

that we could use to promote our First BIFM North

Key Learning Event of 2014 which was based

around future trends and technology in FM and the

workplace.

I filmed, designed and produced two videos, an

event poster, various digital designs which we

used to promote via our social media channels and

photographed the event.

Project Title: BIFM North Summer

Ball Event Promotion

Project Details: I was asked to

produce a poster for the BIFM North

Summer Ball themed around a Circus

or Carnival. I came up with 3 initial

designs and presented them to the

committee members, then produced

this final design (Left). From there

I inserted the poster into various

marketing designs so that we could

promote this event via our social

media channels.

Promotional Video

Date: Oct 2013

Project Title: BIFM North Careers Event Promotion

Project Details:

I set about promoting The BIFM North Careers Event

which was held at The New Co-operative Group

head office in Manchester. Therefore I designed a

promotional video so that we could generate some

interest in this event through our email marketing

and social media feeds.

Above: I designed a short clip to promote our new Loyalty Card

system in the North Region, however it was never publicised.

Top Right: After doing some research i came up with a simple

design to show how a BIFM membership could increase your

network connections, to-date it has reached 10,924 accounts on

twitter.

Bottom Right: Working with our Merseyside region, I filmed

and produced a short clip to help the region promote their future

networking events.

Project Title: BIFM North

Loyalty Cards

Project Details:

The idea came from Mark

Whittaker, whereby we wanted

to show our gratitude for the

consistent attendance to our

events by offering a reward for

our member’s attendance.

Therefore I was tasked to

produce a Loyalty Card so that

our member’s could record the

CPD code at each event.

Since the Loyalty Card was

introduced we have had some

fantastic feedback from both

our members and BIFM’s Head

office.

These cards have been

distributed to all the members

in the North Region and the

initiative is to be replicated

in the Scotland Region in the

summer (2014).

Project Title: BIFM Think FM Designs

Project Details:

After meeting Jennifer Rowntree at

the BIFM Corporate Event at Whiston

Hospital, I offered my assistance in

producing some marketing designs so

that she could use them to promote

the Think FM Conference before the

event on 13 May 2014.

After the decision was made to

amalgamate all the BIFM North twitter

pages including BIFM North West,

Merseyside and Lancashire to

BIFM_North I redesigned to twitter page
