Español 3• A class for intermediate speakers

• Honors credit

• Must stay organized!

• More reading: stories, articles, etc.

• More writing: projects, power point presentations, etc.

• Lots of verbal interaction at the intermediate level

• Lots more vocabulary!!!

• You must be in class all the time! Don’t ask to get out of class for ANY reason!

Español 2• A class for novice high speakers

• Students are expected to reach the intermediate level

• Must bring materials daily

• Practice, practice, practice!!!

• Must participate in all oral work!

• Must keep an organized notebook!

• Oral testing every six weeks and at end of each semester!

• Vocabulary must be memorized and into long-term memory.

• Students must be in class every day!!!

1. Bring your Spanish notebook and handouts EVERY DAY!!!!

2. Be Here! Attendance is critical to your success!!!!!

3. Participate actively! Practice makes perfect in Spanish class!

4. Be prompt in getting here and in turning in assignments!

5. Show kindness and respect for others! Not everyone is as perfect as you are!

6. ¡Diviertense! (Have some fun, y’all!)

7. Choose a good attitude! It is a choice you can make! Don’t make everybody else suffer because you are grumpy!

8. Respect property. Most of this stuff is mine, not yours! Keep in mind how you would feel if someone walked off or trashed your stuff!

9. Don’t talk while the teacher is talking, or leave your seat without permission while anyone is in front of the class!

10.Bring supplies by Sept. 2!!!!

School Supplies for Spanish1. NOTEBOOK: You will need a zipper binder with three rings

and a ziploc or zipper pouch inside for your pens,etc. The notebook should contain a package of notebook paper, some dividers, and a small spiral.

2. Bring me two pens, two pencils and a package of 100 index cards, either 3x5 or 4x6, colored or white.

3. Spanish 2 only: one set of 10 colored markers, or one box of tissues.

4. Spanish 3 only: One box of kleenex, or one glue stick.
