1. Field strengths from fixed transmitters, such as base stations for radio (cel-lular/cordless) telephones and mobile field radios, amateur radios, AM and FMradio broadcasts and TV broadcasts cannot be predicted theoretically with ac-curacy. To assess the electromagnetic environment due to fixed RF transmitters,an electromagnetic site survey should be considered. If the measured field strengthin the location in which the TORNADO turbine is used exceeds the RF compliancelevel mentioned above, the TORNADO turbine should be observed to verify that it isoperating normally. If abnormal operation is observed, additional measuresmaybe necessary, such as reorienting or relocating the TORNADO turbine.

Note : UT is the AC mains voltage prior to application of the test level.

Essential performance per IEC 60601-1: The essential performance is to maintain the visual luminous in-

tensity of the LED.

For transmitters rated at a maximum output power not listed above, the recom-mended separation distance d in meters (m) can be estimated using the equationapplicable to the frequency of the transmitter, where P is the maximum outputpower rating of the transmitter in watts (W) according to the transmitter manufac-turer.
