Temple builder:

1. Temple as divine meeting place between God and Man. 

2. Adam as priest‐king to serve God in the Temple.

3. Such worship/service was to flow out of deep fellowship.

4. Creation (ruach, pneuma = wind/spirit) and garden (river).

Temple builder:

1. Deliverance from the ‘gods of Egypt’ (Ex. 12:12); 

2. Though the Passover and in the Sea (Ex. 14:21, 15:8).

3. For the establishment of the tabernacle (Ex. 31:1‐5). 

4. The glory cloud fills the tabernacle (Ex. 40:34‐38)

Temple builder:

1. Solomon’s temple a creation of the Spirit (e.g. 1 Kings 7:14) 

2. Filled with the glory cloud (1 Kings 8:10‐11).

3. Garden/Eden symbolism: in this place and by God’s gift we enter Eden again.

2. The action of the Spirit in the incarnation of the Son (hovering, forming, filling, blessing, etc.)

4. The Spirit is building us as God’s Temple (Eph. 2:18‐22)

Jesus’ Promise
