National Safe Boating weeks begins on Sunday and will continue through Saturday, July 4th. If you own a boat don't go near the waler unless you are sure that you can handle your craft safely. Many skippers- feel that they know it all. especially after a few cocktails. Remember, you are responsible for your passengers' welfare and you are also liable if your wake causes another craft to overturn and swamp. Run your boat as you would your car and obey all the rules of the road. This safety message comes to vou as a public service from LONG ISLAND BOAT & MOTOR SALES, 23 River Road, Foot of Erwin Street.
