I like Indian dance because it allows you to rest, move your shoulders and close your eyes.

I like Beth’s participation with the teacher trying her best. Indian dance is fun because

you get to move your hip bone.

I loved this class. It was very fun and aerobic.

It showed me new dance moves I hadn’t seen before.

This is a great class. I liked Lily’s dancing.

What’s fun about this class is you get to do all different moves and that you can learn new

This class was full of energy and excitement.

My students enjoyed themselves, and you could tell be the smiles on their faces.

I had an opportunity to dance some myself, and I found the movement energetic and

inspiring. This movement was something new for me,

and my students.

It was challenging but I know it helped

to push my students as dancers.

I think the students really enjoyed

getting to put on the costumes.

It really helped them to get the full experience.

This was an amazing opportunity

that I am thankful for.

I thought this class was different.

I do Bharatanatyam but I have seen Bhangra dance

when I have gone to some Indian events.

The steps were exhausting.

I noticed that all Bhangra steps have bouncing.

Your feet are never still, always moving.

This class was fun, interesting, different and awesome.

I liked the steps and I liked when we were in the circle.

The dancing wasn’t really the style that I prefer,

but it was something new and different, & it is important to try new things.

I never got to wear the outfit, but that was fine; it didn’t matter.

I thought this dance was kind of hard to do.

You do a lot of movements with your feet and hands.

The part I didn’t get was when you got on your knees

and you were bend down.

This dance was called the Indian dance.

I am going to practice that dance

and I hope that I can get it.

I really enjoyed the dance lesson with my high school class.

Putting on the costumes really got them engaged and energized.

The best part of the class was them dancing in a circle.

It helped them to see each other and learn from one another.

It was great to see the transition of all the three classes today.

Today in the dance class it was very interesting.

The class did many Indian dances.

The dances were very different than the dances I would do

in everyday life at school.

These dances really expressed the Indian culture.

Mr. Sandhu came in and had many fun and new dances

which used and included all parts of the body

(hands, legs, shoulders, arms etc).

I now know another type of dance.

I will continue to study this.

I really enjoyed this class today.

The dance that I enjoyed the most was the ‘moon’ and the ‘bird’.

Today was A LOT of fun.

This wasn’t what I had expected.

I learned that I cannot move my shoulders

the way I wanted to.

But the dances were so fun and they were good exercise.

My favorite dance was the one with one foot out

hopping in a circle with a partner.

When I was little my mom went to India

and showed me some of the dances.

It was a cool flashback.

I find that the following comments fairly sum up the class experience.
