A LEADERSHIP AND TRANSITION PROGRAM FOR SENIOR MILITARY LEADERSCapstone Leadership ProgramAccording to Military Leaders in Transition, there is good reason to begin to think about and prepare for transition at least a couple of years before your separation from service. While attending a service-provided transition course will give you the basics of resume preparation, interviewing strategies and appropriate attire in the civilian workforce; they note transition to civilian life will require a much broader consideration of goals and desires as you consider next steps after leaving military service.
Through exposure to business relationships, competence, and corporate and nonprofit organizational cultures, candidates in the Capstone Leadership Program will interact with C-suite mentors to assess goals, define objectives and develop strategy for achieving a successful shift from military to corporate lifestyle.
WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW ABOUT THE CAPSTONE LEADERSHIP PROGRAMThe Capstone Leadership Program will help active duty general officers and flag officers enhance their leadership skills by interacting with CEOs in academia, corporate America, industry, and nonprofits as they share their best leadership practices.
Who is involved: The Capstone Leadership Program is led by Fortune 500 executives and C-suite leaders from academia, corporate America, industry, and large nonprofits. The Program is designed to expose active duty general officers and flag officers to chief executives in academia, corporate America, industry, and large nonprofits.
