Huelva

• Huelva is one of Spain’s most unspoilt areas and boasts a

number of wild, unspoilt beaches perfect for sun and beach-

• The province of Huelva is situated at the south of Andalusia

between Cadiz and Portugal.

Beaches in Almonte

• Matalascañas Beach:

This beach has a 4km-long promenade and is one of the beaches of Huelva most popular between tourists. This is a familiar beach with golden sand, facilities including toilets and showers, sunshades and sunbeds, watersports and nearby carpark.

• Castilla Beach:

This is a enormous beach located in Doñana National Park with 20km. Castilla beach is ubicated in a unspoilt nature where there are not services and nudism is allowed.

Beaches in Isla Cristina

• Isla Cristina is one of the most popular resorts in Huelva and its beaches are preferred by many families in summer.

• Isla Canela Beach. A town beach with golden sand, salt marshes, sand dunes.

• Redondeda Beach. A small isolated beach with golden sand surrounded by eucalyptus trees.

• Punta Caiman Beach. A small unspoilt sandy beach. Difficult to access.

• Moral Beach. Unspoilt, sandy beach with calm sea. No facilities.

Beaches in Cartaya

• Portil Beach:

This beach is belong to two municipalities and is surrounded by natural spots such as Laguna del Portil natural reserve, Enebrales de Punta Umbría natural spot and Marismas de Odiel natural park.

• El Rompido Beach:

Ubicated in the friendly fishing village El Rompido, this beach is protected from the open sand by the spit that extends across the Rio Piedras estuary. If you want, you can walk along the long, sandy beach of Nueva Umbria or explore the sand dunes that run along the centre of the spit.

• Lepe has 20km of sandy beaches streching from Islantilla to La Antilla, Nueva Umbría and the marshes of Río Piedras.

• Playa Islantilla

In this beach is ubicated a holiday resort with good facilities, golden sand and a really good atmosphere.

• La Antilla

Here is ubicated La Antilla seaside resort. In this beach we can enjopy of sand dunes, good facilities and services.

• Nueva Umbría

Located on the sand spit La Flecha in the Piedras river estuary, this beach has sand dunes, marshlands and 18km of pristine sand.

Beaches in Moguer

• The beaches of municipality of Moguer are closer to Mazagon and the famous Doñana Natural Park.

• Parador Beach

Unspoilt beach with a few facilities including lifeguards and showers. Surrounded by cliffs and pine and eucalyptus trees.

• Rompeculos Beach

This beach is a three kilometers long and 100m wide, meaning there is plenty of space for everybody. The beach does not offer any facilities except parking at the top of the cliffs.

• Torre del Loro Beach

This beach is in fact on the boundary of four municipalities and if you walk a full circle around the tower, you pass through all four: Palos de la Frontera, Moguer, Lucena del Puerto and Almonte

• In the municipality of Palos de la Frontera are located some beaches as:

• Mazagon beach This beach is very popular in summer time by Spanish families. The most urban part of the beach to the west of the town and closet to the marina has all facilities including every type of servicies. • Dunas beach The Dunas beach is a quiet beach backed by landscaped villas. This beach is near to Magazon beach. • Alcor beach Near to Parador Hotel, we can find a natural beach backed by pine woods and sand dunes. In this beach there are not facilites or servicies.

Beaches in Punta Umbría

• Punta Umbria is the largest seaside town along the Huelva Coast of Light. Here you have differents beachs to enjoy: • El Portil beach El Portil beach stretches for 3.6km alongside the El Portil Lagoon, an area of outstanding natural beauty. The beach has a golden sand and all amenities and facilities. • Bota beach Also known as El Cruce beach, this beach is chosen to practise windsurfing, kite surfing and parascending. • Mata Negra beach Is a beautiful rural beach located in the heart of the Los Enebrales Natural Park. In this beach we can find between the dunes many species in danger of extinction. • Ría beach It is a estuary beach with just 700 metres long. Its calm waters is perfect to ejoy with water sports or swimming.

Beaches in Punta Umbria

• Punta Umbria beach

Is ubicated next to the town of Punta Umbria on a small paeninsular where the sea meets the Paraje Natural de Marismas de Odiel. Many visitors practise windsurfing and kite surfing.

Beaches in Huelva (capital)

The Huelva’s capital city has just one beach, El Espigon. This beach is located on a sand spit that can be accessed only by driving accross Marismas del Odiel wetland area.
