Dear Phil,

No, I am looking for something else.

Basically, if your Declaration Method is 3b, this means that you should provide me structural design calculations for the component (as you can see from the attached Table A.1 taken from BS EN 1090-1 :2009+A 1:2011).

The values required are: Nrd (=Design load) Aeff (=Effective cross-sectional area) Aeff/ A (=Effective cross-sectional area/cross-sectional area) lz (=Radius of gyration) fy (=Yield strength) Weff (=Effective elastic section modulus) M (=Design moment) lyy (=Second moment of area in they direction)

If you use Methods 1 or 3a you do not need to provide the above information.

Thanks for your time,

BBA00010958_0001 BBA00010958/1

Yours Sincerely,

Dear Phil,

You have said that the Declaration Method that you use is 3b.

If this is the case, in the Declaration of Performance that you sent me, in the Table at point 8 ("Declared Performance") there should be information about Structural Characteristics/Section Properties included in the row with the title "Performance characteristic".

Method 3b requires structural design calculations for the component. Please find attached Table A.1 taken from BS EN 1090-1 :2009+A 1:2011.

Thanks for your time,

If you have any queries, do not hesitate to ask me.

Yours Sincerely,

Dear Phil,

Thanks for the information about the Durability.

In the table of the FPC that you sent me, it does not say which Declaration Method you used. lt states all the Declaration Methods (1, 2, 3a and 3b), but it does not say which one you use. Could you please let me know which Declaration Method you use ?

Yours Sincerely,

Dear Phil,

Thank you for the Declaration of Performance and the Factory Production Control documents that you sent me.

Agrement Certificate 03/S034 has assessed also the Durability of the System, therefore I need also information about the performance of the durability in the Declaration of Performance.

Regarding the Factory Production Control, could you also tell me which Declaration Method do you use ?

Thank you for your time.

Yours Sincerely,
