How to Get There
By Air
Bandung's Hussein Sastranegara (IATA: BDO) airport offers limited services mostly with smallplanes. Air Asia flies at least daily to Bandung from Kuala Lumpur and Singapore while Merpati andSriwijaya Air fly from other big cities in Indonesia such as Surabaya. The preferred alternative is by
using flights to Jakarta's Soekarno-Hatta Airport then land transportation to Bandung which is anapproximately 3-hour drive.

By Land
- Shuttle Bus – various competing transport operator using 7 to 10 seater minivans to serveJakarta – Bandung route as well as Sukarno-Hatta Airport – Bandung route return or one waytrip (door to door or point to point).
- Train with frequent scenic trips between Jakarta and Bandung.
What To See and DoBandung has several iconic buildings well preserved for visitors to see, including Villa Isola (1932),Gedung Merdeka (1895), Savoy Homann Hotel (1880), Grand Hotel Preanger, Gedung Sate (1921),Cipaganti Mosque (1933) and ITB West and East Hall (1918).
Other interesting places to visit are Saung Angklung Udjo, Bosscha Observatorium, GeologicalMuseum, Sri Baduga Maharaja Museum, Pos dan Giro Museum and Mandala Wangsit SiliwangiMuseum.
