Jesus Was a Servant
“Behold, my servant whom I have chosen, my beloved with whom my soul is well pleased. I will put my Spirit upon him,
and he will proclaim justice to the Gentiles. He will not quarrel or cry aloud,
nor will anyone hear his voice in the streets; a bruised reed he will not break,
and a smoldering wick he will not quench, until he brings justice to victory; and in
his name the Gentiles will hope.”(Matthew 12:18-21 ESV)

Jesus Was a Servant
The God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob, the God of our fathers, glorified his servant Jesus, whom you delivered over and denied in
the presence of Pilate, when he had decided to release him. (Acts 3:13 ESV)
God, having raised up his servant, sent him to you first, to bless you by turning every one of you from your
wickedness.” (Acts 3:26 ESV)

…for truly in this city there were gathered together against your holy servant Jesus,
whom you anointed, both Herod and Pontius Pilate, along with the Gentiles and
the peoples of Israel, (Acts 4:27 ESV)
…while you stretch out your hand to heal, and signs and wonders are performed
through the name of your holy servant Jesus.”(Acts 4:30 ESV)

Jesus Was a Servant
…who, though he was in the form of God, did not count equality with God a thing to
be grasped, but emptied himself, by taking the form of a servant, being born
in the likeness of men. And being found in human form, he humbled himself by
becoming obedient to the point of death, even death on a cross.
(Philippians 2:6-8 ESV)

Jesus Was a Servant
For I tell you that Christ became a servant to the circumcised to show God's
truthfulness, in order to confirm the promises given to the patriarchs, and in
order that the Gentiles might glorify God for his mercy. As it is written, “Therefore
I will praise you among the Gentiles, and sing to your name.” (Romans 15:8-
9 ESV)

We Are Here As Servants
For to this you have been called, because Christ also suffered for you, leaving you an example, so that you might follow in
his steps. (1 Peter 2:21 ESV)
“A disciple is not above his teacher, nor a servant above his master. It is enough for the disciple to be like his
teacher, and the servant like his master. (Matthew 10:24-25 ESV)

We Are Here As Servants
You call me Teacher and Lord, and you are right, for so I am.
If I then, your Lord and Teacher, have washed your feet, you also
ought to wash one another's feet. For I have given you an example,
that you also should do just as I have done to you. (John 13:13-15
ESV)

We Are Here As Servants
